"This movie almost made me pee my pants." Martha says, taking her 3D glasses out of her eyes and putting them in her bag.
"I don't think I'm going to sleep tonight. Lily, what about you?" Leven asked, folding his arms across his chest. "I'm going to sleep at 3 in the morning anyway, so it's no big deal." I say, taking one last sip of my drink.
"Shit, it's raining!" Leven says when we get in front of the cinema. I look up, seeing the small drops of water hitting the hard ground with a splash.
I think a little, coming up with an idea. "Remember when I said I was hungry, like half an hour ago?" I ask as best I can, knowing that if I start my idea with food, they will most likely say yes.
"So what?" Martha wonders, looking at me questioningly. "Well, I thought we could run in the rain to that restaurant at the end of the street and eat." I say, looking at them with wide eyes, hoping they'd say yes.
"Certainly no-" Before Leven could finish his sentence, Martha took his hand and began running between the drops of water. I smile as I begin to follow them.
"I swear to God, if anything happens to my makeup, I'm going crazy!" He says just before we get to the front of the restaurant. Once we get inside, we start shaking the water off us. "Oh, that was quick." He says, making Martha and I giggle.
We chose to sit at a table in one of the corners of the restaurants, trying not to look like we had burst out of nowhere. I sit very close to the window, watching the rain hitting the glass of the window, as I place my, kinda, wet jacket, on the back of the chair.
Leven arranges his makeup with a tablecloth, while Martha complains about how her hair will be so huge after it dries.
I laugh and see that a blonde girl comes to us with three menus, putting them on the table and leaving. I look around the menu, choosing to eat a Caesar chicken salad with some tzatziki sauce on top and a cup of English tea to keep me warm.
Leven and Martha decide to eat the same thing, fish and chips. And I thank the universe for finally deciding what they want to eat, because I don't think the waitress is able to wait for them to decide, anymore.
Then they want a cup of hot chocolate next to it, as well. After that, the waitress almost run away from here. Well, I think we have a talent for making people run away from us.
We talk a little, and not even an hour since we placed the orders, we have already finished our food. Now we drink our cups of hot drinks, and the rain has become even thicker than when we got here.
After we finish, we decide to call a taxi and go home, thinking about meeting later if the rain stops. The taxi arrived, and we squeez on the back sit. And then we talk for a while about how we hope this first week will go.
After about 15 minutes, the taxi stops in front of my house, being the first in the raw, I say goodbye to my friends, getting out of the car.
As soon as I closed the taxi door, it disappeared from my side. I hurry to the small metal gate between the fences, opening it and then closing it behind me, hurrying to the front door of my house.
I'm looking for the key in my purse, because I'm pretty sure Laura and Robin are probably at work, finding it very quickly, then I open the door and go inside.
I close the door behind me, tacking off my boots, going upstairs to my bedroom, to change, and maybe I'll take a shower, as well. In my bedroom I put the purse on the bed and take off my jacket on the desk, planning to put it on the dryer later.
I go to the closet, taking out a pair of dry underwear, a white shirt and a pair of boyfriend jeans, and I go to the bathroom. There I take off my makeup and undress, getting in the shower, deciding to fix the water while I'm in it.
