Must be my lucky day

Aaliyah:
"Today is the day that I have coffee with this fine, sexy man" Aaliyah said in her head.
"What am I going to wear? I don't want to look too fancy." Aaliyah rummaged through her closet looking for the perfect outfit to go have coffee with Josh in. This man gave her butterflies. Could he be the one?
"Ding"
Josh 💜 : "Hey gorgeous. 😘
Aaliyah smiled from ear to ear as she looked at the message on her screen. The day she saw him in the store they spent all night texting back and forth. She was surprised she had gotten any sleep between their endless conversation and her waking up this morning to check on Camille.
Aaliyah: "Hey handsome, how are you this morning?"
Josh 💜: "I'm great. How are you?
Aaliyah: "Energized actually. I'm feeling really good today.
Josh 💜: "that's what good conversation does to the soul lol.
Aaliyah: "haha 😂 who said it was good?"
Josh 💜 "I sure recall getting a reply back within 2 minutes, so I guess you did. 😏
Aaliyah laughed out loud. She really enjoyed talking to him. He understood everything that she was. She placed her phone on the bed and continued to look through her clothes. She found the perfect outfit and placed it on her bed. They agreed to have coffee at 11:00 and right now it was only 9.
"Guess I'll take a shower" said Aaliyah
She cut the shower on and stepped out of her pjs . Before, she hopped in the tub, she stopped and looked at herself in the mirror. She didn't like everything about her body . She thought that one boob sat too high and that her stretch marks looked horrible. She turned to the side and smirked .
"Ass for days" she said to herself .

Josh:
Josh was excited for coffee with Aaliyah just as much as she was. He felt like she had a different vibe. Nothing like the girls he dated in the past. He sat at his kitchen counter scrolling through her Instagram . She was really gorgeous to him.
"I like this one" he said out loud; examining a picture Aaliyah had posted a couple days before they met. He loved her chocolate skin, and her pearly white smile. She was a woman to him and he really was excited to get to know her .
He closed his laptop and checked the time on his phone . Only a hour before his coffee date.
"Ding"
His phone pinged indicating a message . He had a smirk on his face while checking his phone, thinking that it was Aaliyah.
Kayla: "what you doing baby?"
Josh: "didn't I tell you to lose my number? I am not your baby.
Kayla was Josh's ex girlfriend and they didn't end on great terms after he found out she was cheating on him with multiple men at his old place of employment.
Kayla: "J, why you gotta act like that. I said I was sorry. How long you gone be mad at me for?
Josh: "for as long as I so please to Kayla, now get off my line man. BLOCKED."
He went to his message settings and quickly blocked Kayla before she could reply again. He was over her and didn't want anything to do with her anymore . He had his eyes set on a new prize and she was worth going through any obstacle for.
He walked to his room and got dressed. He had already laid his outfit out the night before. He didn't want to over do it. He picked something simple because it was just coffee.

Aaliyah and Josh both decided since this was their first date/not date, that they would drive their own cars.
Li 😘: "leaving my house now. C you in a little bit"
Josh smiled at the message. He sprayed just a little bit of cologne on and headed out the door. As he got to his car and was halfway in. He heard a familiar voice .
"I know you didn't block my number J? What's your problem?!"
He turned around to see Kayla walking towards his car from across the parking lot.
"Dude what do you want?" He said
"I want you to stop acting like a little girl and forgive me already." She said with some sass in her voice .
"Look Kayla I do forgive you, I don't care about it anymore. That doesn't mean I want you back. As a matter of fact I don't want anything to do with you . Hence the me blocking your number "
"Man baby come on. Come home."
"Umm I am home Kayla and I'm actually trying to leave right now."
"Where the fuck you going all dressed up?"
Josh rolled his eyes and continued to get into his car .
"I have a date, now bye" he said and he flicked her off and pulled out of the parking lot.
She stood there looking after his car, practically foaming from the mouth. He was tired of Kayla and her obsessive behavior. He was thinking about getting a restraining order.
As he pulled up to the coffee shopped his put all of what happened earlier out of his mind. It was time to see Aaliyah and he had been waiting for this moment.
He walked into the shop and looked around. He was surprised he made it there before she did; taking in consideration that she left her house before him. He sat at a table in the front of the shop so he would be close by the door. He picked a coffee shop that was a equal enough distance from both of their apartments.
