The next day Kellin was doing his daily lap around the pond. He couldn't stop thinking about Jane, he was astonished that she even talked to him. He was so ugly! And she was so pretty! It was a mystery, but he didn't care, he was just happy that he got to talk to her.

"Kellin?" Jane swam over to the ugly duck.

"Hi Jane," he boldy said.

"I wanted to ask you something,"

"Yeah?"

"Do you want to go to a ball tonight?"

"Sure, with who?"

"With me silly!"

"...Y-you want me to be your date?"

"Yes of course!"

Kellin was hyperventilating, how was this possible? Kellin was so happy, he was about to pass out.

"Yes I will go with you, what time?"

"8 pm, I'll pick you up."

"O-okay, see you then." Jane waved goodbye with her big wings. This was the best thing that ever happened to Kellin.
