"are you coming?!" Albert shouted into the other room. "Yea give me a sec!" Lana yelled back. There were going on a date night. they both walked out the door, hand in hand.  On their way to the coffee shop they were headed to, Albert had thought of some exciting news.

"Hey Lana?"  Albert piped up. "Hm?" "What if we went the the carnival after the coffee shop? I think tonights the last night its open, and i finally got tickets!"  Lana agreed, still staring at her phone.  Albert stared at her for a bit, but then looked back at the road.

A few minutes pass with nothing but silence to fill the air. "We're here!" Albert exclaimed.  Albert exits his car, waiting for Lana to get out. As they walked, Albert could see the annoyance in Lana's eyes. He didn't know why it was there, but he was going to find out sooner or later.

They both walk into the coffee shop, taking a wiff of the air filled with french vanilla and cream.  "Ima go use the bathroom." Lana mumbles. "Ok, i'll order for ya"  Albert orders their drinks and sits down.  A few minutes pass by. No sign of Lana. 10 minutes pass by. Still nothing. 20 minutes. Still nothing.

Albert: Hey you doing ok in there?

Albert put his phone down, patiently tapping on the table. "Heres your drinks mr. aretz!" "Thank you!" As Albert sips on his iced mocha (idk what he likes don't attack me ;_;)  he scrolls through twitter. She finally arrives back to the table after a half an hour. "Hey! What took you so long? You scared me!"

"Oh uh....nothing! Bad stomach aches, thats all..." Albert could tell she was lying, she was always a bad liar. "Whats wrong?" Albert raised his eyebrows. "No really, nothing!"

Albert sat there for a sec, examining his girlfriend's facial expressions as she scrolls through her phone. Smiling, to a quiet laugh, back to smiling. Albert was getting impatient with this behavior, as it has been repeating for months.

And whenever Albert peeked over her shoulder to see what she was doing on her phone, she'd hide it from him and proceed to yell at him for being "nosey". "No seriously, whats wrong? You never show me what you're doing on your phone even when i walk past you at home, or when i want to see whats on your twitter feed. You always hide it. Is there something i'm not supposed to know about?"

No answer. "Lana are you even listening?!" Lana looked up and cocked her head. "Hm? What did you say?" Albert sighed and took a deep breath. He didn't want to get mad and make a scene in front of people, especially since it would embarrass his girlfriend. "Why are you hiding things from me, Lana?" Lana sat there for a second, forming a straight line with her lips. "Well...." Albert put his forehead in his hand, and sighed again. "I've got all night to listen."

"Well...uh..because! I'm planning a surprise for you and i don't want you to know! It's been taking months tho so thats why i've been so secretive!" Albert had an idea after hearing this. "So, now that i know, can i see it? You know i hate surprises." Lana's eyes widened. Albert handed out his hand, waiting for Lana to place her phone in it. "N-no you can't you nosey lil prick."

Lana lets out a little laugh, but Albert didn't have time to play around. "Mm, ok then." He took his hand away, and got ready to leave. "You ready?" He looked at Lana again, who still had her phone in her hands. He got no answer from Lana, so he looked through the window, only wanting to see outside, but he noticed that the reflection had Lanas phone in it. "What the..." Albert mumbled quiet enough that she couldn't hear. He looked closer to see that she wasn't on twitter, nor instagram, and she sure as hell wasn't on youtube. He looked a bit closer and saw the name of this man.

(Idk if Lana's actually dating anyone so i'ma make one up tehe) his name was Samuel, sam for short. And they weren't having a friendly conversation. Albert snapped his head back in disgust as soon as sam sent a photo. "Lana, lets go." "Ok" Albert wasn't happy with what was happening. He only hoped it was a dream that he could wake up from.

They finish their coffee and head to the carnival.  "You excited?" Albert questions. No answer. "...Lana?!" "What??" "...never mind." "Ok" They spent time together at the carnival, winning games, eating ice cream, passing out on roller coasters (is that just me? Oh...ok) and all the fun stuff.  Albert decided to pull a sneaky and suggested to go on the giant ferris wheel, thinking it would at least cheer Lana up before he confronted her about Sam. "Falls so pretty at dusk isn't it, Lana?" She looked the other way.

"Lana, what is up with you, girly? You never want to hang out with me, or do cutesy stuff with me! You're always so secretive! did i do something wrong? If so, can i please know so i can fix it?"Albert tried to hold her hand, but she pulled away.  He knew she was cheating on him, but he still tried. Maybe he saw something wrong in the reflection.

Maybe it was a Samantha, not a Samuel. 'But i don't think Lana's a lesbian, and why would a girl have parts down there...?' Any possibility that ended up with Lana being innocent was useless. They didn't make sense. "What did I do? I just want you to enjoy the night!"

"Albert I..." he stared at her with thoughts swarming his head. He felt sick to the stomach, he knew what was gonna happen."What is it?" Albert questioned. "Albert we're through, I've found someone else who makes me happy."  Alberts fears had came true.  It was over.  Their long lasting relationship, finally over.  Albert felt a wave if sadness come over him, but he tried not to show it.

"Well, i respect you and your decision. I hope we can still be friends though? It would be terrible to leave on bad terms." "No Albert, I don't think we can." "Oh..ok.."  Albert let go of Lanas hand and looked the other way as the ferris wheel started its decent.  They got off, and drove home in silence. Albert helped Lana pack her things, and waved to her goodbye.

He shut the door and just stood there. He felt lost, and alone. His "future wife" had just left him for someone else.  Albert had felt like there was noone else to blame but himself.  Albert pinned his back against the door, and slowly made his way to the floor boards. Then he just sat there, in pain. "No, don't cry, boys weren't meant to cry. Stay tough." He caved in and buried his head into his lap. Letting out all of his tears, all of his sadness. He didn't know what he did to deserve it, but he believed that it was his fault. Maybe he wasn't good enough, maybe he didn't give her enough things. Maybe he wasn't a good cook. He didn't know, but he felt like it was his fault.

Gonna stop it there! Pt. 2 coming soon!
