I stumbled into the doorway dropping my shopping bags on the floor next to the shoe rack. I hadn't even began taking out my coat get when I got blind sighted by Brielle. She came out of no where and grabbed my arm and started rambling.
"OMG! Brie! I have a huge, HUGE, problem! I need your help."
I sighed out reluctant, but agreed to help, even though I basically had been taken hostage.
"What is it Elle?" I asked as she pulled me along.
She stopped half up the stairs and faced me, she breathed in deeply, centering her chi, I guess, but that didn't work because she began rambling again.
"You know I started sending out e-vites for my party right?" she asked barely audible.
Folding my arms on my chest I nodded slowly while making sure I understood what she said. Sometime Brielle talks so quickly, I have to do a double take in my mind before I answer. Because the wrong answer and send her into a spiral.
"Well, I thought I sent to to everyone, EVERYONE! But turns out I forgot someone!"
"Who?" I asked pretending to care.
"Andrew Lancaster!" she exclaimed collapsing onto the stares, hand on her forehead like she had fainted. "I forgot to send it to him, and he found out from one of his friends. Now he won't even LOOK AT ME in the halls o-or in c-class! I'm doomed Brie! DOOMED!"
Before I could answer my sister who as currently freaking out on the stair way, My mother poked her head from behind the other side of the stairs.
"What's in the hell is all that shouting about?" she asked bout to march up the stairs in her stiletto heels.
I blocked her path stopping her from walking any further. "Mom it's okay! I have this under control."
"Oh, okay. Carry on," she said turning on her heel and heading back downstairs.
You can take the girl out of England. . .
Turning back to Brielle, I gave her my full attention. I reached out and giving her a hand to help her stand.
"Elle, all you have to do, is send him the e-vite like nothing is wrong. And then when he comes to your party, talk to him when his guard is down okay."
For a good long while, Brielle had a weird look on her face, seemingly processing my advise. But eventually, she smiled and took my hand. Once she was back on her own two get she lunged forward and hugged me tightly.
"Aww thanks Brie! Your the best!" she said. Then she let me o and scurried up the stairs.
I swear that girl has the energy of a over-caffeinated intern working on wall-street. . .
I ran back down to get my bags and take off my Autumn coat, then I headed up to my room to make a call. I had it on my mind to interrogate Harper about that new beu I caught her banging with in her car. She claims it was "just the spur of the moment" . But I know Harper and she's a terrible liar.
"Hey google! Call Harper!" I commanded.
"Calling Harper mobile," the automated voice answered back, making me giggle. I could never take that assistant seriously.
"Hey, hey what's up Brianna?" Harper's voice chirped form the other side of her phone.
I walked around the edge of my large queen sized bed, rolling up the fully colored sheets I plopped myself on the bare covering.
"Spill it," was all I said once I settled in my seat.
The silence on the line was followed by a quick puff of air from Harper and a, "Spill what?"
