Izuku lay on his bed, his face stuffed into the pillow. His situation only continued to frustrate him as time went on, and at this point he was sure that he'd just be locked up forever. He just wanted for someone to realize how useful he could be, and use him as the powerful tool he was.

Or maybe he wanted to be given the affection he had been deprived of from a young age.

Maybe it was a mixture of both.

No matter which one, his lack of contact from the outside world was frustrating.

At least Kirishima cared about him enough to visit him every once in awhile. That was probably the only thing that maintianed his hope for his situation.

Izuku didn't flinch as he heard the door open quietly, and just continued to lay there. Until he heard a familiar voice, "hey, Midoriya? You alright bro?"

He mumbled "yeah, I guess..", and sat up, turning to face Kirishima. Kirishima flashed him a toothy grin, and held his hand out to him, "that's good! C'mon, there's someone you'll want to see" Izuku looked at his hand nervously. "Am I allowed to come out of here?" the Nomu asked him, and Kirishima nodded, "yeah, you can. Now, let's go!"

Izuku grabbed Kirishima's hand, and stood up. Kirishima led Izuku out of his room, and into the main room.

The room was pretty crowded, so Izuku kept close to Kirishima. Kirishima didn't seem to mind, as he continued to lead the 13 year old through the room. People parted away from the two, for fear of the Nomu lashing out.

Izuku glanced around, trying to find the person Kirishima was talking about.

Then he noticed a familar face. His mom. She had come back for him.

Izuku ran up to her at his full speed, which was higher than normal for him due to his new quirks. He wrapped his fraigile arms around her in a hug, which she easily returned.

If she noticed his Nomu mark, she didn't say anything.

Both of them burst into endless streams of tears, signature of the Midoriyas. "Izuku, my baby! You're okay!!" Inko cried. "Mom...!! I-I thought I wouldn't see you again..!" Izuku said in response.

Their crying went on for awhile, until it eventually it subsided into sniffles. "Oh, what happened to you? Your so small!" Inko said, refering to his extremely boney limbs. Izuku mumbled "I don't think I'm being fed properly.." in response.

Inko rubbed his back in a comforting manner, as Izuku buried his face in her shoulder.

"I'm sorry I worried you..." Izuku appologized. Inko shook her head, smiling softly, "it's not your fault, sweetie. You didn't ask to be kidnapped."

Izuku nodded.

After awhile, Inko and Izuku seperated, and Inko said "let's go get you some food."

Izuku glanced around slowly, eyes scanning over all the pros. "I... don't think I'm allowed to..." he mumbled, letting his gaze fall to his feet.

That seemed to anger Inko, although her anger wasn't directed at Izuku, "and why would that be?" Inko asked, her soft tone masking her anger from him. Izuku slowly brought his hand up, revealing his Nomu mark, and mumbled (he's been mumbling alot-) "..that's why... I got turned into a Nomu... I'm sorry.."

Inko scowled at the heroes. "Just because the villains turned you into a Nomu doesn't mean that you deserve to be starved, Izuku"

The heroes cowered in fear of her. She was giving off a very murderous aura, clearly protective of her son.

Yeah, they would be taking much better care of the Nomu after that day.

Even if she didn't say anything of it, Inko did notice the analytical gaze that her son constantly held. It was different than when he would analyze quirks, though. For one, it wasn't this consistant before he had been kidnapped. Before, it only showed up when he was really intrested in something, which, while often, wasn't nearly as pernament as this was. Second, it lacked the passion that it had before, instead seeming rather dull.

It worried Inko, but she didn't say anything about it. At least, not yet.

She definitely would ask him about it later, but not in such an open area.

Inko had just finshed making some katsudon for her and Izuku to share, and brought it out to the table Izuku sat at.

"Thanks mom!" Izuku smiled as she sat down, passing him one of the two plates. She grinned at him, "well, go on. Eat up!"

Izuku nodded and began eating, Inko following suit. "It tastes amazing, mom! Thank you so much!" Izuku said, and his eyes seemed to sparkle with delight.

"Your welcome, sweetie." she smiled, as Izuku ate his food as if he was worried someone would steal it. Then again, he probably actually thought that. Especially with everything he'd gone through.
