Chapter 2 :: Waking Up at the Sohma House

Start::

I shift in my sleep, "Nii-San...." I mumble, clutching the sheets beneath me. Wait....sheets? I bolt up and come face-to-face with Yuki. "What t-!?" He stops me. "Calm down, Kyo found you on the street sleeping last night and brought you here. What happened?" I glare at him, "nothing happened. I was sleep."

He frowns, "on the street?" I cross my arms and he sighs. "Okay, I don't want to fight with you Ju- Sina-Chan." He corrects himself quickly. "Then what do you want?" I almost growl. "For you to answer my question." I narrow my eyes at him and gesture for him to continue. "What did Akito do to you after I left?"

I freeze, my blood stops flowing and I almost throw up. "L-Leave me a-alone Yuki..." I whisper and he tries to place a hand on my shoulder. I jerk my arm away from him. "Get away from me!" I hiss as someone with orange hair walks into the room.

"Look what you did Rat, you upset her." The boy comments. "Shut up you idiot cat." I tilt my head at their weird names. "Who're you?" I ask the orange headed boy. "Kyo Sohma," he says rudely. I raise an eyebrow and reply in the same tone. "Juisuina Sohma." His eyes bulge. "B-B-But I- I've n-never-!"

I cut him off, "what? Seen me at a family party? I'm not usually aloud to attend for....special reasons." I stay vague and feel Yuki's gaze on me. "What type of reasons?" He asks and I turn to look at him as he flinches. "Simple, I'm not telling the likes of you." Kyo starts laughing, "I like her already!"

Kyo suddenly becomes serious, "how come I didn't know about you though? Even without the party each year..." I don't get to answer as Yuki cuts in. "She's my twin sister." Kyo's jaw drops. "You see what you did?! You broke him!" I growl and then my lips form a snarl, "and I am not your sister. Not anymore!"

Yuki frowns and I stand up as Kyo snaps out of it. "You're sister to that idiot rat!?" I giggle but am still confused about the 'rat' and 'cat' thing. "Anyway, I was supposed to let Tohru know when you were awake. She made you food." I blink and shake my head, standing up.

"No thanks, I already troubled you all enough. I'd better go." I pull on my jacket to the side and look for my bookbag. "Go where, exactly?" Yuki asks and I pause. "Anywhere but here..." I mumble and he places a hand on my shoulder. "Look, I'm sor-."

He is stopped when someone walks in, that Tohru girl, she bumps into Kyo. A popping sound is heard and a poof of smoke cover Kyo. I blink at the orange cat. "What the fuck?" I ask bluntly. Yuki sighs, "you'd have to know eventually I guess." He mumbles and glares at the cat, who glares back. "How was I supposed to know!? Beside if she's your sister, shouldn't she know?!"

I place my hands on my hips, "yeah. Shouldn't I?" Yuki sighs, "she was sick the day I was bumped into." I blink and look back at the cat, "wait a second.....that cat just talked." They all sweat-dropped. "The cat is Kyo," Yuki explains. I blink and tilt my head, "cool." Shrugging, I turn to Tohru. "You know where my bookbag is?"

She looks at me, "s-sorry but Shigure-San has it." I sigh and scratch my head, "great." I say sarcastically and Tohru starts to apologize again and again. "Forget it. Worse come to worse, just give it to me at school tomorrow." I stretch slightly. "P-Please don't g-go! I don't know much about you yet and I-I heard you were a Sohma."

I sigh, "I'm nothing special. Neither is my life so don't get interested in something that will bore you." I explain as nicely as I can. "A-Ah sorry! I-I didn't mean t-to offend you!" I shake my head and smile softly, "you didn't offend me. A word of advice though, you might not want to be looking for answers that you won't like."

I walk out the room after saying that. "W-Wait!" Yuki runs after me, "at least stay for dinner." I stare at him about to deny bluntly but Tohru is next to him. "Fine," I huff and Tohru cheers. "So I didn't have to hide her bookbag?" That must be Shigure. My eye twitches as I turn towards him. "Why you little-!" Someone grabs my arms and tries to hold me back.

Key word being try. I almost drag Yuki around the house trying to kill Shigure. When I'm calm-ish. Yes, ish, I'm still pissed. "Someone fight me," I order and crack my knuckles. "Fight you? Haha-!" I cut Shigure off with a punch to the wall next to him and he turns pale.

"I'll fight you," I nod and walk out the house. "Where are you going?!" Kyo yells behind me. "You don't expect me to fight in a house do you?" I snicker and he runs out, ready to fight me.
