mukuro's proud of herself for getting mikan out of junko and hers relationship but, she can't seem to have a happy ending.

she can't seem to see herself as a good person because of junko's impact.

every day, mukuro catches a glimpse of the new couple, happily talking and giggling. it's a beautiful thing, humanity is, yet so flawed. mukuro can't help but feel a twinge of jealousy.

but, of what?

mukuro doesn't know.
mukuro isn't in love with mikan,
mukuro isn't in love with ibuki,
mukuro was in love with the idea of a healthy and happy relationship.

for now, mukuro was stuck in junko's cage. she has no one but junko.

she should be proud of herself, but she can't help being jealous that they get their happily ever after and she doesn't. mukuro is stuck with stalking her crush, hoping they'll notice her.

mukuro waits silently for her prince or princess to rescue her.

and she thinks, 'you're heartless. you're a monster? why do you wish they were apart? why do you wish something bad will happen to their relationship?'

and then she thinks, 'junko was right'.

she watches the happy couple talk and giggly happily.

oh, she knew she was hopeless from the start.
