Affected (Chapter 12)

I recognised the deep, husky voice. It was Taehyung's, but how can I hear his voice when he isn't opening his mouth.

Am I able to hear his inner voice?

Taehyung:(I am only putting her in more danger than she already is. Why the hell can't I control myself. We cannot be together. How can you forget that Taehyung.)

That broke my heart for some reason.

Even if we are not in relationship, why can't we stay together, if he likes me?

Taehyung:(You can't Taehyung. You can't. I just can't.)

After that he opened his eyes. And moved away from me.

He looked sad and angry. I wasn't able to hear his inner voice anymore.

He just stood there without saying anything, looking into my eyes. He then turned back and went out of my apartment, slamming the door behind him.

I was still leaning against the wall. The same way when he left me alone in that alley the other night without saying anything.

"What is the thing that is bothering you Taehyung?" I asked myself.

[Taehyung POV] [Some hours ago]
As I went out of the room, I felt guilty for what I did. I shouldn't have acted the way I did in the meeting. I could have just asked Jiyoung to move aside rather than standing with her. I was just too jealous and angry that he was standing with her.

I forgot that I am the production head and I acted as if I'm Y/N's boyfriend or something. But I don't regret doing that. He have to know that Y/N's not his. Wish she was mine. I just laughed and went to the canteen.

I then bought a coffee to drink. For a while, I sat in the canteen and thought about how to approach her after this. Some time later, I decided to talk with her, about the matter.

While heading towards the staircase that leads to my cabin, I bumped into Jiyoung, mainly it was Jiyoung who did it on purpose. The coffee that was in my hands spilled over his shirt. And then he got angry and started yelling. I was not in a mood to talk back. I just wanted to go to Y/N as soon as possible. So I decided to ignore him and move. But suddenly Jiyoung held my collar.

Jiyoung:"Where do you think you are going after doing this to me?"

Taehyung:"............"

Jiyoung:"Oh! Looks like your mouth only works infront of Y/N and no-one else."

Taehyung;"Stop it."

Jiyoung:"What!? Seriously!? This is your comeback on me after I yell on you. Be a man not a kid! Pathetic!"

He looked around before starting again.

Jiyoung:"Look at this ring."

He showed me the ring that was similar with Y/N's.

Jiyoung:"This ring has a pair and its with Y/N. Y/N and I shared this ring when we were a couple, and I bet she'll still have the other one. You know what that means? It means she still loves me. Only me. She loves me enough to not go to someone like you. I've done a really big mistake by cheating on her, and leaving her alone. But now, I'm back and I know that she'll accept me again. She is still angry with me, but she'll forgive me when she know that I still love her."
