Jealousy(Chapter 21)

When we entered the room, Taehyung was already present there, along with his assistant Chaeyoung, Jiyoung's group head and Jiyoung and also Manager Choi.
When Taehyung and I looked at eachother, he slightly bowed at me. Blood rushed to my cheeks, making it hotter and maybe redder, as I remembered what had just happened me and him. Irene gave my shoulder a nudge, indicating me to move, as I was standing on the doorway.
I quickly moved and stood near the group's head, then Irene stood beside me.

CEO:"As everyone I want is here, let's congratulate each and everyone as we have made one of the biggest deals with a very big company."

We all clapped, bowing to each one.

CEO:"Also this is all because of Mr Kim Taehyung that is present with us. Without him, it was not possible."

CEO-nim bowed to Taehyung, as we clapped. Taehyung too bowed showing his respect.

Just then Chaeyoung hugged him tight and gave him a kiss on his cheeks.
He flinched, but let her hug him.
Irene held me by my arm, that's when I realised that I was going towards them. I walked back to place, tried not to look at Taehyung.

Trying to break the awkward silence that followed, CEO-nim said.

CEO:"Also Mr Choi, no one else can manage the staffs and the office like him. Obviously he learned that from me but let's give him an applause."

Choi-nim bowed to everyone and smiled widely.

CEO:"Also how can we forget my assistant manager. She manages my work when I'm not present here. She also looks after the staff and she is a really big help for Mr Choi. So a thank you for you too Y/N." Everyone clapped.

I bowed to everyone and gave everyone a smile, except for Taehyung, I just bowed to him. Out of nowhere Jiyoung hugged me from the side and pecked my cheeks.
It all happened so fast that I didn't get the time to stop him. Hands on his chest, I pushed him away.
I tried rubbing off the dirty feeling from my cheeks. Just disgusting.
CEO-nim scoffed.

CEO:"So, in order to celebrate our growing success, we will be throwing a huge party for Kim Taehyung, as to welcome him once again and to boast about our deal."

This is our first international and the biggest deal that we ever made, so CEO-nim was really happy about it.

CEO:"Also it'll be like the proms of high schools, but adult's version. You'll need to get yourself a partner and dress to impress. I am feeling so happy and young already." He laughed.

Goodness! I don't want to be partnered with anyone. I know that Jiyoung will try to ask me out but my answer's no, as for Taehyung, I bet he'll go with Chaeyoung, his beautiful assistant. I know I sound jealous because I am jealous.

CEO:"OK! Now everyone, I and Mr Choi will be working on this, so you need not to get worried about the arrangements. Just be worried about your get up and your partners."

Manager-nim:"So, you all can leave now. Boss and I still have some work."

I was the first one to leave the room.

I went to the canteen to get some coffee and give myself some peace that I deserved. When I was waiting for my coffee that was when I remembered about Irene. I left her, without saying anything. No problem, I'll get her later.
