Loyalists and Patriots.
The group names resembled those of the American Revolution we had learned about, but the battle is nothing like it. Here, a corrupted world led to the separation of two groups. Loyalists desired fixing what was needed for our world to thrive. On the other hand, Patriots, sometimes referred to as Radicals, wanted to strip the world of everything and start over.
Out of spite of being called Radicals, we called the Loyalists Conservatives.
Oh, how I wished to be on the Loyalists' side. To live a life of serenity with those I love. How I envied their freedom, even if they were in middle of a war.
