~ROSE'S POV~
"Next", the doctor says. Some kids would come out crying and pleading to go home, made me kinda nervous to even step foot into that room.
As I walk in, the guard gives me a strange look and closes me in with the doctor.
"Do you know what we'll be testing for today", the doctor asks me. I shook my head,"You're trying to find If I'm sick or not". He lets out a chuckle "We already know you're sick, but we really wanna find out your special so we know whether or not to send you to harvest."
"What's Harvest", I ask, with a slightly scared look.
"Don't worry about it", the doctor says while swiveling the light into my face.
"Listen, there are 5 colors :
1] GREEN-- That's the safest color on the scale, greens are usually smart and witty, always coming up with solutions. They're very intelligent.
2] BLUE-- Above the Green, they're the safe but may need to be guarded considering the fact that they have telekinetic abilities.
3] GOLD-- Above blue, you should be cautious around them, they're able to manipulate electricity and use it to their free will.
4] RED-- The Red most dangerous of them all, they are able to gather flames and take out on their enemy, sadly reds don't live long, they go out for harvest.
5] ORANGE-- The most dangerous of them all, oranges are considered very lethal, they immediately get sent out for harvest, they're capable of getting into people's thoughts and even erasing their memories, including their own." He explained.
He flicked the switch on the machine, I let out a long breathe.
"OW" I yell. A strange feeling goes through my body, I don't know what I'm feeling right now.
"You're an Orange" the doctor says. "GU-", the doctor starts to yell for the guards but quickly stops himself once I grabbed his arm, I see a family.
"I must be in his thoughts", I say.
"You must be in my thoughts", I say. I gasp.
"Is everything ok in there", the guard asks as he knocks on the door.
"You are gonna tell them that I'm a green. I'm not dangerous." I said to the doctor then let go of his arm.
"You are Green, you are not dangerous", he repeats.
He goes over to the computer and changes my profile then opens the door for the guards.
"She's Green", he says to the guard. They go towards me and swoop me up basically dragging me out of the door into a different room.
"Change into this", one of the guards throws a pair of green scrubs at me.
I quickly changed not wanting to know what would happen if I went too slow.
When I was done they put me in a line with a bunch of other kids dressed like me, I guess they're all greens.
They separated us all by color, greens, blues and golds only, no reds and no oranges, EXCEPT FOR ME.
