Love, Pain, Repeat

"Defense!" The crowd roared in the stadium. I was in my last game before going off to college and I need to make it a win.

"Justin!! Kayanin mo!!"

"GO SHAUNN!!"

"Go Go Go Andrew!"

"Bilisan mo Renzo!!"

"Go Kevin! E shoot mo yung bola."

We had lots of avid fans and I was one of the star favorite because Shaun was the MVP of the team.

I swiftly stole the ball from the other team's player and slowly dribbled it. The suspense was killing me because we only had one and half minute to break the tie.

I couldn't help but focus in the game. Deep breathe and pass it to Shaun so he can have 3 points and it will break the tie from Calem High.I did everything I can to pass it to Shaun and I jumped in mid air as the ball passed through the hoop. The confetti and streamers spread out the whole entire court. You could hear the crowd shouting and Coach Kline jumping just because we won our last game as a high school student. My teammates were so contented that we won. They approached the other team for good sportsmanship.

After the game I was talking to Andrew about the school scholarships offered upon us. Shaun and Justin had to be in Duke University in Durham, North Carolina because they were offered a full scholarship and they get to play in the NCAA. Andrew and I were offered in Mapua Institute of Technology which I always wanted despite my parents being fortunate and old money rich I still wanted to work harder. Renzo, Issac and Marco went to there home place in Cebu City. They didn't accept the other opportunities because they wanted to have an easier life and less hassle because they are taking hard courses.

We were talking until my girlfriend for 5 months Jessica slapped me and that made the boys laugh so hard.

" I am so tired of you not giving a fuck about me Kevin! That's why all your relationships are all down the drain because all you prioritize is you, basketball, school, gaming and family! Have fun finding a girl who will prioritize your fat ass! Its over forget you and me ever existed!" She said to me and walked out.

I could hear the laughs of my teammates and all I could do is just hold my cheek that hurts a lot because she crushed my pride and ego. I think I loved her not like the other flings and I even cared for her but she can't blame me that I have other priorities. Maybe this is just infatuation like the rest of the relationships I had. I tried to suck it in and smiled at the boys as if it was nothing.

"Oohh ang sakit nun." Drew laughed at my face.

"Have fun finding a girl who will prioritize your fat ass." Renzo impersonated how Jessica acted.

"Chicks and there priorities." Justin laughed.

"At least hindi ako gaya sayo teacher ang jowa!" I smirked at him.

"Ows? That was just a fling get over it." Justin laughed.

"Party at my house next weekafter graduation!" Shaun shouted.

Shaun throws the best parties you can ever imagine. He buys drinks that are shipped from Italy because he has a cousin that is supplying those drinks. Last time I slept at balcony because I was so drunk drinking a jin. I have high alcohol tolerance but Jin can knock me out after 1 bottle. I party not that much because my father grew up in a old money rich family but at least he agrees to let me party if only I keep my grades up.
