Chapter 3

Love the way you lie

It was a week after graduation and my parents decided to take a week off and relax in one of my Aunt's beach resorts. All of my parent's friends will be there because they have decided they would spend this summer togther. My parents were beyond friendly and I am thankful that my friends are a family friend so we get ti stay with them during summer.

My parents knew each other since way back elementary days because they were old money rich and they were the closest of friends. I want to have those geniune friendships like my parents did way back when.

The girls were in the beach swimming while us boys were just playing in the court. I could feel the sweat dripping around my face as I tried to shot the ball.

"Sana ol ka talaga bro! May kakompetensya na si Shaun." Justin joked at Shaun who was just having trouble shooting. Shaun glared at Justin and he just laughed it off.

We continuted to play the game until Marco"s sister Nicole jumps right in and steals the ball and shots it. I was impressed for a small little girl like her she could actually shoot the ball.

"Labas ka na nga Nics!Nakakapikon ka na ah!"  Marco said at her sister.

"Bobo ka naman eh. That's why na acclerate ako ng dalawang times." She mocked her brother and threw the ball at his face and that made Marco fall and all we did was laugh. Marco was weak because his siblings would always go to there Mom and tell every little detail about Marco's flings and chicks that is why he is super duper careful.

As we were playing my sweat was everywhere. I took off my shirt to get rid of the heat as we continued to play I could hear whistiling from the side of the court. "Wow sexy naman ng kapatid ko! Mukhang stick-o!" I could hear Alaska and I just rolled my eyes and faced them. Until I stopped and stared at the girl who was wearing a floral dress and her hair was wavy and she had a flower in her ear. She was so beautiful but Milan was more beautiful than her.

Marco whistled at Max and I could feel rage and anger towards him. I saw the ball and threw it on his face. The guys laughed and Marco was now touching his cheek."Aray pikon naman nito." Marco said scratching his head.

"Ako pikon? That's not the way how to treat a girl Marco. Especially if its a family friend." I said and looked at him with so much anger. He raised his arms as if he surrender. Why am I pissed on how he treats Max? When the  fuck did I give a damn fuck?

"Bro why so pissed hindi naman natin alam na may kapatid pala si Ally. Kakambal pa nga!" Shaun asked me and tapped my shoulder.

"Sabi ni Tita sa akin pumunta daw ng states yan si Max para makapag aral dahil na scholar daw." Issac said out of the blue. He drank his water and just shrugged his shoulders.

"Pina uwi ni Tita Alana dahil baka mapa ano daw dun." Marco said and I just gave him a glare and her he raised his hands again to surrender.

"Pre may gusto ka ba kay Max?" Drew said and tapped my shoulder. My initial reaction was no! Never because why would I like such boring and smart ass girl? First of all she is no match for Milan and plus she is just a no one in society. Call me judgemental but its the truth because she has less class than Milan.

"Sure bruh love the way you lie." Justin laughed and clapped his hands. All I did was just scratch my head in frustration. Why am I feeling this way? Why do I want to make her safe and comfortable when we never had a clear conversation as I heard she has only spoken to less than 100 people in our school .

"Baka in love na ang brader natin." Issac joked and winked at me. I just ignored his comment about me. I am final I like Milan more than Max.
