Alfonzo bent down and whispered "How are you that certain, princess? What if she's not who you think she is?"
"Excuse me, but the last time I checked, it's rude to talk about people behind their backs," Ashe budded in.
Alfonzo glared at Ashe for a few seconds. Realizing he was wrong, Alfonzo apologized profusely to the 17-year-old. While doing this, he recognized some features he thought he recognized from somewhere, amber eyes and long, dark hair. He brushed any thoughts of the rouge lokomo, Byrne. Alfonzo had been knocked unconscious by the lokomo early in Link and Zelda's journey. Zelda caught him up on the true identity of his "friend" after the adventure was over.
"I think we should go to the Tower of Spirits. I know Ashe just came from there, but if what I think is correct, an old friend of ours should be waiting for us," Zelda suggested.
"Who is this 'friend', Zelda? I'm not walking all the way back to that tower to meet up with this noble person I never met is supposedly waiting," Ashe complained. Her feet were in pain and her legs were exhausted and it felt like they could give out if she walked any more.
"First, we're not walking, I know Link's going to drive us in his train. Second, the friend will be very important for you gaining some sort of insight, if I'm correct," Zelda informed Ashe.
"Well let's get going and see if you are. All these if's are getting me anxious," Ashe said as she started heading towards the Castle Town station.
The ride to the Tower of Spirits was a smooth one. There were no demonic trains or murder leprechauns standing in our protagonists' way.
"That wasn't there before," Ashe pointed out,"the room was completely empty when I was here."
Ashe was right, there was a stone train in the middle of the room. There also were train tracks crisscrossing the room. Ashe was starting to walk to the train when she froze in alarm. Her eyes were wide and her ears were pointed up like a fox.
"Guys?" Ashe pointed out nervously, "there's someone else here. I can feel it."
