"Life is pain," Kushina mumbled as she continued to carry Naruto. He was jamming his knee into her back as his droll was rolling down her shoulder, "Mom, I think you're being a bit too generous," Mito suggested, seeing the said drool fall down her body like a waterfall
"N-no, it's fine. Pain is temporary but being a mother is eternal," Kushina replied, taking out a baby-barf towel and placing it on her shoulder, making all of them cringe
"Sweet lord above, what's wrong with her?" Tazuna whispered to Naruko
"It's a family problem... w-we prefer not to talk about it," Naruko answered
"I won't ask questions then, I understand," Tazuna said as he popped open his sake bottle and started to drink it. They continued walking down the road as Naruto opened his eyes and spotted a puddle on the road, 'It hasn't rained in the last few days, has it?' Naruto thought as he turned his head and looked at Kakashi. Kakashi looked back at him as Naruto looked back at the puddle. The white-haired jonin nodded as he took out his book and started to pretend to read, "Are we there yet?" Mito groaned, her feet getting tired from the walking
"You'll know when we get there when we get there," Tazuna answered, putting away his sake bottle back onto his hip
"Mito, sometimes you just gotta go with the flow. Relax, stop and smell the flowers," Kakashi said as he flipped a page in his book
"What flowers are there to smell?!" Mito shouted, pointing at the thorny bushes and tall trees, "Hell, there isn't even a bird to chirp at ya!"
"All right, this is getting annoying. Put me down" Naruto ordered, giving a small yawn
"N-Naruto?! Y-You're awake?!" Kushina said in surprised
"Yeah, yeah, now put me down, I need to stretch my legs," he stated as Kushina set him down. Naruto begrudgingly crawled out of his sleeping bag, popping all the bones in his body as he did so. Rolling up his sleeping bag, he placed it on his back and rolled his shoulders, "Alright, let's get going," Naruto said as he started walking
"Hey! Wait up!" Mito said, running up to him. They all soon started to move up, leaving Kakashi to come up on the rear. Kakashi sighed as he continued to read his book, but the sound of chains echoed in his ears as he was wrapped up in chains, "DO IT!" a voice shouted as everyone turned around to see Kakashi killed, his body being turned into dozens of pieces.
"SENSEI!" Mito and Naruko shouted as his body parts fell to the ground
"One down... now to get the bridge builder," the Shinobi wearing a mask with one horn said
"Tch, let's just take out the brats first. The house-wife and Bridge Builder would be easier to take care of without them getting in the way," the Shinobi with two horns stated, crouching down to get ready to attack again.
