Virgil's POV
What the hell is wrong with Remus just spilling out all my secrets like that. Sometimes I don't know how Janus puts up with him. I sit against my door listening to the muffled conversation between the Prince and the Duke. I can hear Remus storm off down the stairs. And then I hear silence. I wanna look out to see whats going on but know I will most likely regret it. But life is full of regrets. I slowly open my bedroom door and Im greeted with a tearful prince lost in thought. "Princey." nothing.. "Princey." still nothing.... "Roman." he jumps slightly at my assertive tone. "Are you okay?"
"Im fine..I think" I can tell he seems hurt. I walk over to him and place my hand in his. His face is displaying surprise. "What are you doing?" He says with wide eyes. "I know how you feel about me, Roman. No need to hide it anymore. Ive always known but the name calling didn't really help you know." I tried to say that last part with the nicest tone I can mange. "I'm so sorry Virgil I had no reason to treat you like that. You didn't deserve it." Roman's head is down and I can see the tears falling down his face. I moved up, close and personal to him to force him to look at me. I don't know where this confidence came from. "But you know what you did was wrong and I can tell that you're genuinely upset about it. And I forgive you." He still is trying not to look me in the eyes. And Im not having it. I chose to do something rash but certainly worth it. I place both my hands on the sides of his face and I force him to look at me. "Roman, stop putting yourself down. Its not helping. You are obviously sorry, so shut up and kiss me." And with that I immediately place my lips on his. It took him a while to kiss back but the he did it was heaven. After a while we pull away for air and look into each other's eyes. "Roman, you have to accept it, I...love you."
"I love you too, Virgil. With my body, heart, and soul" He pulls me in for another kiss and this time he takes no time to kiss me back. As it was getting a little heated I hear a familiar voice behind us. "Well finally you dick twitches actually got together."
"Remus not now." I say as I roll my eyes. "What? Its true. You guys made it seem so difficult to get together. All you had to do was talk to each other. geez." Remus wasn't lying but its not easy to get told off by Remus. But at least it was about something good this time and not something how he would say demented. I now can talk with my dashing prince when I want without nearly having a panic attack and this relationship is way better than I ever imagined.
