2 Tails Are Better Than 1 (Sonic X Tails)

I am rooming with the most amazing person ever. They care what I think, they are always there for me, and they are HOT! I'm of course talking about my friend Sonic. He has everything anyone could ask for. I know, now, why Amy ha seen chasing him all these years.

I sit on my bed as I hear him walk through the front door. Its a constant struggle to keep my feelings at bay. I know what most morons would say at this point. "The struggle is real" which I guess it was. But not everything is a struggle.

Anyway he walked upstairs and into my room. He had a smile on his face, which I rarely ever see anymore. So it was a pleasant surprise when he told me why.

"Tails! I've got great news"

"And what might that be?"

"Amy finally stopped chasing me"

I was shocked by this. Just yesterday she said she would never give up. But apparently she couldn't wait forever. Yet I was curious as to hwy she didn't want him anymore.

"Why did she stop?"

"She found out I was gay" he said calmly.

I nearly fell off my bed at that point. Sonic was gay? No freakin' way I heard that right.

"You are?"

"Yeah, I thought that was obvious. I never bring home girls, and besides they bore me anyway" he said shrugging hsis boulders.

"That is great news" I said with a smile of my own.

"Which part? Amy or me being gay?" He asked.

I hated that word. It was like a permanent label. A word that was used to put us in our place in a fucked up society. It was an unessasary and hurtful word. I despised every letter that made up the word.

"Both" I responded.

"And why is me being gay such a good thing?" He asked.

"Well, don't freak out, but I like you. I like you more than a friend and more as a lover. You are everything to me and I would be lost without you" I finally admitted.

"Do you think the person I live will love me like that for the rest of my life?" He asked.

That broke my heart. He just basically turned me down, but with a question. It hurts but at elats now he knows.

"If they're smart, yes. I know Is would"

"Okay, now is as good a time as any. Tails. I love you too" he said walking closet to me.

I couldn't breathe, I couldn't think. I couldn't do anything hut sit there, mouth agape. While he inched closer to me. He stopped and pointed upward, toward a hanging mistletoe.

I forgot, I decorated my room since this was my favorite time of year. And I got up, not in control of my movements, and just walked over to him. I got on my tip-toes and planted a gentle kiss on his lips. He deepened it and it sooner turned into a fiery, hot, yet still meaningful kiss. Today was a great day indeed. I was glad the word love existed. I loved every letter of it.
