As crazy as it sounds, I had the idea of Neville Longbottom from Harry Potter and Scott Malkinson from South Park being best friends.
Both of them are known for having a hard time making friends in their own respective schools and getting along with their peers. Neville is teased for being a poorly skilled wizard and is targeted by Slytherins, especially Draco Malfoy. While Scott is made fun of by his classmates for diabetes and speaking with a lisp. I figured neither of them would care about one another's flaws and would understand what the other is going through. In fact, there's a lot they can show about there worlds.
