I burst into the seating room
"Caius!," and then realising I should probably bring the others into this matter I mention "Aro, and Marcus." I step up to my seat
"Yes Cecelia?" Aro says in a sing song voice I tell them through clenched teeth
"She knows- she could sense me." They turn to face me almost at the same time
"What? Cullen knows what?" I gulp before reply
"She sensed me, she could sense another half breed." I don't need to explain the issue here- they already understand. If the fact that the Volturi have accepted a halfbreed into lead gets out our reputation will be in shambles. There will be riots and uprisings from the other covens- we'd be hanging on by a thread. Especially because of the fact that before I came along we held Renesme's existence against them for illegally having a vampire child- we were on the verge of appending war against them. They introduced wolves into the issue and then there was a whole thing with a vision that Alice Cullen shared with Aro- showing the Voltui's demise.
" I suggest war." I tell the brothers. They again whip their necks around to face me although it's Aro who speaks - also I can tell that the idea of war tickles their fancy
"Ahhh... Young Cecelia. You and your partner are so very alike. Always cruelly and viciously desiring wars." His sing song voice is getting on my nerves. I take Caius's hand
"Then what do you say? We can't risk this getting out Aro- can you imagine what would happen to our delicate system?" He nods
"Yes. But I do consider myself a man of simplicity. If I chose war then we'd have to plot a war."

I slump back into my chair- crossing my arms in frustration
"Then what do you suggest Aro?" He looks ahead again.
"Just kill the girl." We all like this idea. But I have to object to it- either way it will result in her loss
"No- what if it isn't just her that knows? What if her family does too? The only option is war- even if it's a simple one, an easy homicide of a large proportion." Caius laughs at my commentary and takes my hand, giving it a warm ( but physically cold ) squeeze, his turn to speak
"And Little Renesme is good leverage for us in the war if that is the way we decide to go." I look at Marcus- sad, miserable Marcus
"I guess it's up to you brother Marcus." He removes his hand from over his eyes
"War- war is such a waste. But under the circumstances I choose to abide by what Cecelia says, she is one of the most intelligent of us." Aro claps as if he's received a joyous gift
"Done. The demise of the Cullens coming right up!" We quietly titter evilly.

It dawns on me that we could have just given Alice a heads up on what's about to come. I turn my head away from the others and whisper as low and hushed as possible
"Alice, if your listening. Tell this to your family- go right ahead, you won't survive this time. What you and your family will not do is tell anyone else of the secret- otherwise Renesme is the first do die of your Coven." I know I sound harsh, Alice was once like as sister to me- but now, things have changed. Power has been placed right in the palm of my hands, justice weighed down on both of my shoulders. The fate of lives rest on me- and the fate of doom on some. I will be the one delivering what is deserved- I will be the one to bring our world to a new era of justice and balance. I will protect my family- my coven, my beliefs by laws. All of them will be honoured I again whisper
"This is my family Alice, and together we are capable of creating a new world. You and your family will not destroy the simple happiness I've created for myself. Remember- all of the lives of your family depend on you following what I've told you and what you've seen. Prepare for battle Cullen."
