I just want to say thank you for your patience and your understanding towards my slow updates. The situation of things around the world, and even in Nigeria is disheartening. The world is filled with sick, twisted evil doers, and they are almost always able to get away with their evil acts. Imagine people blaming an innocent victim of rape, making disrespectful assumptions about her, saying she asked for it. Even women are not left out of this group of sickening condoners of evil.
It is very sad that i have to live in fear because of my Gender, something i cannot control or change! Nowhere is safe, i have to constantly be wary of my company, my movement, my male relatives ( because you think you know a person until they show you that you don't) , my WORDS, and even MY DRESSING, because apparently, "women attract rapists that way" fools! foolish people every where. Rape is never the victim's fault. You cannot logicalise the actions of a psychopath! They don't need to see nudity before they are attracted! We need to stop trying to blame the victims, questions like " what was she wearing, what did she do?" are unnecessary and insulting to the victim.
But the word of the lord on these evil doers ( deuteronomy 28: 16-68) shall come to pass. IF YOU ARE A RAPIST OR A CONDONER OF RAPE, YOUCANNOT RUN FROM YOUR PUNISHMENT!
Women cannot do anything but pray, and learn to defend and fight for ourselves because, the justice system is faulty and the society is filled with ignorant people with jaded views about rape.
Stay safe girls; because many men are insane, and a lot of them are roaming around amongst us.
Do not be sad, or scared because you are a woman. If you have been raped or sexually harrased, Do not let it define you. IT WAS NOT, AND WILL NEVER BE YOUR FAULT! Be strong, and fearless, and beautiful. because that is what you are. God loves you.
