Sulking in the corner, wearing a grouchy face and teary eyes while staring far away, seems to find something that you did not know, and being always upset about the challenges in life are the only few of our common responses to any difficult situation that life may hand unto us.
Anamnesis: In the story of Orpheus and Eurydice, Orpheus encounters great sadness and longs for his lost wife, Eurydice. He did all he could to bring back Eurydice to his side by going to the underworld and begged King Hades and Queen Persephone, but he failed to bring back his love because he was not able to fulfill his promise. Because of this, Orpheus felt so depressed that he wished to die.
This is an example of a bad response to a problem. Always remember that everything happens for a reason, and it has a better exchange because your challenges can be the windows to bigger opportunities. You can always make a 360-degree turn and make your challenges into something beneficial, something worth living, and that is something very opposite to the miserable challenges that you conceived. How? Simply by being an open-minded person. Challenges are very useful when they are given to an open-minded person. Challenges can have two effects on a person. It can either make you or break you. A positive thinker takes on challenges in a positive way. That is the time when a challenge makes a person. It can teach you lessons and give you knowledge to become a better person.
Challenges may be wounding every bit of your personality, but at the end of the day, you will realize that they are an opportunity for us to endure pain and to understand others and especially ourselves.
Smile and be confident that your failure today is your future success someday. Experiencing failure is inevitable on everyone's journey to success. Each defeat is merely an installment toward victory. It is normal to feel disappointed with your mistake, but do not drown yourself in the disappointment. Mistakes are a way for you to learn and explore life. The only mistake that you will surely regret is when you stop trying and struggling. Even if it hurts, even if it sucks, never give up because you are not alive for nothing. You are born because you are more than those pretty challenges in life.
So be strong and keep your faith in God burning. Do not let the challenges beat you; let yourself beat them. So what are you waiting for? Say hi to a million challenges and kiss a billion opportunities at the same time.
