//I wrote this when my friend ask me to make a persuasive speech for his other friend. Ang daya pa kasi hindi pinakilala ang nagpagawa. Hahahahahha//

It would be ironic for me to greet you a good day when we can see and hear continuing stories, multiple headlines and unceasing updates from time to time on this fatal unseen enemy of the world. It is hard for us to live with no anxiety everyday as we see cases in certain town continue to rise, the country counts thousands of victims and the world almost reaches a couple of million. It tears us into sadness as we see our fellow Filipino suffering from lacking of foods and everyday supplies and our government thinking of various ways to sustain this fight. Still, I would like to greet everyone a good day, as you are here today, giving attention on my message as we counter our fear.

World Health Organization announced a mystery pneumonia last December 2019 which originated in Wuhan, China. It is now known as Coronavirus Diseases 2019 (COVID-19) and has been spreading globally causing a great outbreak. This has become a pandemic waving panic and distress. Community quarantines are observed. Schools and universities closed. Careers are disintegrated. Various cities are locked down and livelihoods are disrupted. To summarize it, COVID-19 busted the normal living of many people around the world.

Since the emergence of COVID-19, various rules and regulations are implemented to control this outbreak. However, it is sad to know that there are people who are neglecting these rules. If you spent some of your time online, you might have seen posts and articles about a group of young people having rally calling up many attentions as they condemned President Rodrigo Duterte's decision on letting the military forces on the frontline in fighting the local transmission of this virus especially across Luzon area. We can also hear about people being caught doing illegal derbies. These are few among circumstances that violate the social distancing rule.

The others are living in hospitals, and makeshift sick wards and fighting for their livers. Others are sacrifing their own welfare to save the world. Doctors died. Nurses sacrificed their lives living with their families. Good hearts donated to feed the stomachs of the poor. We remain in the present-which is already a past for those who are suffering so much-and we go about our ordinary lives, watching the news, sharing posts and memes. Why not try our best to follow the government? They are asking us simple things, yet a great contribution to control the outbreak when everyone will follow.

I have read and watched so much articles, posts and news which I know that you also experienced. Are these informations not enough for us to feel fear? Why are there so many people arguing and disputing on the ousting of the president? The government is not our enemy this time. We have faced too much problem as this pandemic occurs, one of which is we, the citizens. Our fellow are creeping into fear and painfully to their grave. Our economy is already busted. Are we too immature to deal with nonsense things instead of simply following their request for us to stay inside our home?

So as a Filipino and a human, the best thing that I can do to help this fight against the corana virus is to follow the rules that is given to us by the local government. Stay at home. Have a social distancing to prevent the virus from infecting you or the other people. It is also essential for us to go outside to buy necessary things such as sanitizer or alcohol and other stuffs especially foods in order to survive. In going outside, wear protective mask, follow the guidelines and make schedule on going out, minimizing the time while maximizing the task to be exposed outside at a lesser time. We are Filipinos and Filipino bayanihan will always sprout. Even in the most difficult situation I know that we can create support systems that will keep the life in this country.

For those of us who are healthy and following the outbreaks through different media platforms, remember that the numbers we see are more than numbers. They are human lives. Those lives have their families , friends and everything else they contain. We pray and must heal as one- one Boholano, one Bisaya, one Filipino. We heal as one person of this world.

I wanna end this by saying another good day. Everyone can have a good day when you know that you have contributed to the restraint of the spreading of the deadly virus. Good day everyone and let us not forget to pray for the world.
