Traveling Part 1

1 Month Later

Katniss POV

"Your pregnant!" Annie yelled excitedly. Annie is the first one not to say you're 16 years old, you shouldn't be pregnant!The first family members to know were my family. Mother was disappointed but happy at the same time. Father was disappointed.

"Is this why you wanted to marry my daughter?"

"No sir. I didn't even knew that she was pregnant sir." Peeta said.

"Katniss, is it true that he didn't know before the engagement."

"Yes."

Next was Peeta’s family. They took it very well. I forgot to mention that his mother moved to Kansas after Peeta’s father divorced her. So she doesn't know about the pregnancy. Peeta's brother Rye started to verbally attacked Peeta about how the baby is going to be retarded then that led to a physical fight. So yeah that’s how people react to our news.

"I can’t believe you're pregnant!" Annie said. " I hope you have a girl! Wait my mom taught me something. If you eat more sweets during the pregnancy then your having a girl, but if you eat sour things then you're having a boy."

"Well I have been eating a lot of sweet things lately." I told Annie.

"Yay! It might be a girl! Once we get to Pearl Harbor were going to get the baby's room all decorated and have all pink clothing and" Annie got stopped by Magde.

"Annie calm down. Katniss is in her first trimester. she could have a miscarriage."

"Yeah maybe I should calm down." Annie mumbled.

This conversation reminds me of when Peeta was all worrying if I’m going to miscarriage the baby since I'm only 16 years old.

"Katniss did I make you all worry about having a miscarriage?" Magde asked me.

"No why?"

"Because you said that Peeta is worrying about you miscarriage the baby since you're young and you are looking down at your belly and also your hands are on it too."

"Oh." I mumbled. maybe I should be careful with that.

It was quiet for a minute but Annie started a conversation about what were going to do when we get to Pearl Harbor.  I know what i'm going to do when I get to Pearl Harbor. Nothing! This baby is going to take all my free time. I have to make sure I’m eating healthy food and have doctor appointments for check ups. This baby is going to be the death of me!

I feel little drops coming out of me in that area. Great! I peed.

"Annie can you come to the bathroom with me?" I asked her in a hurry.

"Why me? Can’t.." I cut her off and give her a glare."Fine."

We walked to the closet bathroom there is in this train. When we walked in there were five girls in this two stall, one sink bathroom.

"Oh god I think my lunch is coming up." Annie said to get the girls out of the bathroom. All of the girls ran out in seconds. “there you go my lady, now you have privacy."

"Thank you Annie."

"How many p’s are you going?" Annie and I made this up. One p is for pee and two p’s mean poop.

I told her one p.

I walk in a stall and pull down my skirt and panties and saw a huge wet spot on them. Fuck!

"Annie?" I yelled her name.

"Yes?"

"Can you get Peeta and tell him to bring the bag?"

"Um, sure. What cart is he in?" She asked.

"The cart in front of us." I told her.

I hear the door open and close. "Oh there's vomit everywhere I wouldn't go in there if I were you." I hear annie, I laugh.

If Annie wasn't in my life I wouldn't know where my life would be right now.

After a couple of minutes Annie comes back in the bathroom with Peeta.

"What do you need honey?" Peeta asked.

"Panties and the black skirt." I told him. I hear him unbuckle the bag and going threw the clothes. He hands me the two items under the stall door. "Thank you."

"Your welcome." He said.

I took my panties and skirt off really carefully. I put the wet panties on the old skirt and fold the skirt up. I really don’t want everyone to know I peed my pants. Well not my pants but my skirt.

I put the new new fresh panties on and also the black skirt. It feels good to have dry panties on.

I come out and see Peeta smirking.I hand him the old clothes to put them in the bag. "you peed in on your skirt, didn’t you?" He said.

"Yes." I said and feeling tears forming. Again this baby is the death of me!

"Oh Katniss I didn’t mean to make you cry." Peeta pulled me in a hug.

"It's not you. It’s the stupid hormones! But I still love you" I told him. We pull away.

"I love you too." He said back and gave me a kiss."I'll see you later." He said while walking out.

I walk to the sink and wash my hands.

"Katniss? Do you want this baby?" Annie asked all of a sudden.

Why would she ask that? That’s not like Annie. I love this baby so much, I don't think I can give it away or have an abortion which is illegal here.

"Why do you ask that Annie?"

"I was just wondering." She stated.

I dried my hands and we walked out of the bathroom.

2 hours later

"Ladies and gentlemen we are arriving at District Four's Boating Launch so, please have all of your belongs ready in 5 minutes." One of the workers yelled in our cart.

Me, Annie and Magde stand up and get our belongs off the shelf above us.

"Well ladies were one fourth of the way to Hawaii!" Madge said all annoyed.

"Wohoo!" I said.

The train slowed down and stops really fast which makes me fall.

"Oh god Katniss! Are you alright?" Annie panicked.

"Katniss!" A male voice yelled." Are you okay? Is the baby okay?" I look up to see Peeta.

"Yes I’m alright. And the baby is okay." I told everyone. Peeta helps me up and grabs my bag to carry.

"Ladies and gentlemen we are here and if you could go this way out of the cart!" The worker yelled. We walk to our left to where the worker is standing.

Once I saw the boat swaying side to side I started to get sea sick.

Hi guys! Sorry I havent updated. I have a family member who has cancer and were moving my great grandpa and it’s really hard for me to see his house for sale since I went there for 16 years. And my 2 other excuses is that I’m the stage manager for my school's spring play and I applied to a school which is hard to get into but now I know that I got accepted!

So anyways I hope you liked this chapter. Whenever I listen to Glenn Miller(conducted music in the 1940's) it makes me want to write a new chapter for this book. So yeah!
