Chapter 7

"Your fiancé. Jeon Jungkook? He's here to see you."

"Why would he come to see me?" I sound a little panicked. Because I'd need a minimum of forty-five minutes to make myself look presentable to anyone, let alone the guy I'm going to get married to.

"It's alright love. Go have a bath and you can take your time with it. Jungkook won't mind waiting. But I think he's taking you outside, so dress accordingly."

"Okay mum."

I'm wide awake now but I cant imagine where Jungkook would want to take me.

I brush my teeth, take a shower and get dressed in record speed. I take only 20 minutes.

I don't have a clue about where we're going, so I have a difficult time choosing what to wear. But I end up wearing a black knee length dress that has beautiful floral prints on it.

My hair is still very wet so I can't tie it up.

I go downstairs and find Jungkook sitting on the sofa, busy observing the furniture in my living room. (What?)

He doesn't notice me at first so I clear my throat and go "Hey Jungkook."

"Oh.. hey Katy!" He looks at me now and he sounds a little startled. But he immediately goes back to whatever he was looking at, keenly.

"Uhh.. what are you doing Jungkook?"

"I'm just looking around your living room. Something wrong?"

"No.. everything's perfectly normal.. you've been here only a gazillion time.. nothing wrong at all!"

"Yeah.."

Wait did he just miss my sarcasm totally, or what?

"Should I leave you to your..."

"No. I'm done. Let's go."

"O..kay. But where are we going?"

"You'll know when we get there."

Alright. This guy is either terminally ill or he hit his head somewhere.. really hard!

"Umm.. I haven't had my breakfast yet."

"Yeah. Me too. We can eat on the way. I know a really good place."

"Alright. I'll go find my mom and tell her that I'm leaving."

He sighed, "There's no need for that. She just left."

"Oh.. okay"

"Is there anything else, or can we leave already?"

He sounds a little impatient, but he has no right. He's the one that shows up out of the blue and he won't even tell me where he's taking me.

"Yeah.. whatever.. we can leave."

Mrs. Choi comes in and asks, "Miss, will you and the young master be having breakfast?"

Before I can even open my mouth Jungkook replies for me.

"Thank you Mrs. Choi. but we'll be having breakfast on our way to our destination."

Mrs. Choi leaves us with a bow and a "Yes sir."

Jungkook looks at me like 'Now?' and I start walking to the door.

I open the door and I see a beautiful black Mercedes parked on the driveway. He catches me staring at the car and says,

"Isn't she a beauty? It was a present from your dad."

I stop staring, look at him and start walking toward the passenger seat. I open the door and he goes,
