OH EM GHOUL MY PARTY WILL BE PERFECT! Ten months- so close to one whole year- and look at all the friends I've made!

The invite list so far was: Draculaura, Clawdeen Wolf, Cleo DeNile, Ghoulia Yelps, Lagoona Blue, Abbey Bominable... These were my closest ghoulfriends. What worried me is that if I invite more ghouls, it would be too crazy, and I wouldn't be able to control it all. I can't even control myself sometimes!

BLEEEEEEEEEEP! The bell indicated the end of class. Oh no! I must have zoned out.

"Frankie? You okay?" My Mad Science partner Jackson Jeckyll asked me, as I screambled to pack up my books.

"Oh, yeah, sorry I wasn't paying much attention. I was think about my 10-month-birthday.Was the work hard? I can finish it for hauntwork if you want..." I offered.

"No, it's okay, I got it finished. Don't worry about it. So you're excited about your 10-month-birthday, huh?" He asked as we walked away from our lab table and out of the classroom.

"Yes! It's so exciting- and Cleo is coming! CLEO DENILE IS COMING TO MY PARTY!" I shouted excitedly. "I can't wait to be a year old. I mean, I'm built to be a fifteen-year-old-ghoul but it's not the same as being alive for fifteen years! It's okay if you don't understand, I know you actually HAVE been alive for fifteen years...." I tend to talk a lot. It's a habit. I just get really excited really often! I don't know how to control that so much yet either.

"Oh, yup, I, uh, totally remember those fifteen years. Yeaaaaaaahhh. Well, I gotta go, see you later Frankie! Happy 10 month birthday!" Jackson said, rushing away.

What did I say? I know I talk a little too much so sometimes I say stuff I don't realize is coming out of my mouth but I thought I did a good job processing my thoughts that time.

Boo, did I already scare away Jackson? Maybe I'm trying too hard to make friends, but I thought I was doing okay. I really want him to like me- I want as many people to like me as possible! Ugh, making friends is hard.

I was halfway to my next class when I realized I'd left my iCoffin in my locker. Lots of schools require students to keep their iCoffins in their lockers, but not Monster High. In second period Study Howl, there wasn't much else to do than to do leftover hauntwork you haven't finished the night before or play games on your iCoffin. I'd have to return to my locker to retrieve it.

When I got to my purple, coffin-shaped locker, I put in the combination and opened the door. As I plucked my iCoffin from its place in my backpack, I heard whispering. I turned around expecting to see Toralei and the werecat twins scheming or Cleo and Ghoulia gabbing about the best and worst outfits they'd seen today. Instead, I did see Toralei, but in the place of the werecats was Venus and Spectra. It was an unusual fright. I began to worry about whoever they were talking about. Whatever Toralei was saying could end up splashed all over the Ghostly Gossip, whether the information was true or not. Venus McFlytrap is far too nice to listen to any gossip though. She was a good ghoul and had a true heart.

I closed my locker and began in the direction of my Study Howl classroom. I took one more glance over at the gossiping ghouls, and Venus flashed me a nervous, worried smile, as if whatever she was being told was going to mess someone's whole unlife up.

Oh my ghoul.

They're talking about me.
