Daniel Ricciardo, born 1st July 1989 under the Cancer Season is one of the most outstanding and bright character in the F1 Paddock. Being called "the honey badger", the popular driver outshines the other drivers with his sympathetic way, which is very typical for a Cancer. An interesting fact is that the lucky numbers of a Cancer includes the number 3, which is the number of his car. Is that coincidence? Over the past years I noticed how creative and imaginativeRicciardo is. The Element of his sign, which is water, obviously has a big impact on his creativity. I never saw anyone else in the paddock creating random songs out of nowhere or making random sounds like "ki ki ki ay" or "rrrrra rrrrraa". Ricciardo is also quite creative with his style. I'm sure no one wears the type of socks like he does or no one's having a special beard for a race like he did in Austin.

When I think about Danny Ricciardo, then I think about a very funny and emotionalperson. Many F1 drivers show their emotions, but rarely that openly like Ricciardo does. When a Cancer gets upset or really happy, he doesn't shy away from showing their emotions. For example, when he won his first race in Canada 2014 or when he got pole position in Monaco 2016, you could see and hear how happy he was. But on the other hand, when it doesn't go that well, like in Austin 2018, you could hear him scream under his helmet releasing all the frustration of the 2018 season.
Cancers are famous for being tenacious. I guess every F1 driver is tenacious, but I think Daniel has that extra tenacity. After losing the victory to Lewis Hamilton in Monaco 2016 due to an unorganized pit crew, you could see his disappointment and since then he was eagered to win the Monaco Grand Prix in 2018. Also when he's batteling with other drivers, he seems very tenacious for instance in China 2018 when he fought against Valterri Bottas for P1.
I think we can all agree that Daniel Ricciardo is very loving and charming. When he's around kids, I either have to laugh or my heart is melting, because it's just so cute. Cancers being very caring persons, it shows how much he cares about his family. My heart is always melting, when I see him with his parents, especialy with his mum.
With all the positive traits there are also negative traits.
Cancers are very unpredictable. And I think that fits Daniel Ricciardo quite well. While the whole world was shocked by the sudden move from Red Bull to Renault, it seemed to be a shock for the management of Red Bull as well. Since he was in a winning team with Red Bull it was unlikely of him to change the team, yet he did. After only two years with Renault, he's going to drive for Mclaren in 2021. Even though this one was more predictable, it was still not sure.
Another typical negative trait for a cancer is being resentful. After he lost the Monaco Grand Prix in 2016, Daniel actually stayed resentful for two years, until he won in 2018. In this case, it might have been a good thing that he stayed resentful, because then he was even more eagered to win as I said before. But being resentful is probably one of the main reasons he left Red Bull. With the growing battle and growing pressure from Max Verstappen in 2018, he had to deliver. Yet with multiple (engine)failures and a controversy management from Red Bull, like in Baku 2018, where they favoured Verstappens strategy over his, it was seemingly enough for Daniel Ricciardo and he decided to leave.

Particularly in the 2018 season, it appeared to me that Daniel was a little bit suspicious and insecure. Him knowing that Red Bull saw Max Verstappen as their future, he probably sensed, and even I sensed that sometimes, that Red Bull would put their focus more on Max. Baku being the best example, where it was in my opinion unnecessary to favour Max like that. And obviously Ricciardo felt similar about that and I guess it was at this point that he was getting very suspicious and didn't care too much about the result, which he kinda admitted in the Drive to survive season 1. And maybe small insecureties started to develop at this point. As many people said about his sudden move to renault: He was maybe running away from a fight with Max Verstappen.
How would Daniel Ricciardo be in a Relationship?
This one is ONLY based on the Zodiac sign! I can't tell for 100% how he will be in a relationship, since the zodiac sign is not the only thing that influences a personality (read my Info for an explanation).
If Daniel Ricciardo portrays a typical Cancer, he would be a very affectionate and thoughtful partner. He would always make sure that you are protected and safe. Cancers are really sensible when in love. If you are the right partner, Daniel would show his sensibility and emotional side. Nevertheless, he needs a lot of attention as well. If you make him feel needed and give him subbtle words or compliments, you would make him feel comfortable. Being in a Relationship with Daniel Ricciardo would be on a give-and-take basis. While he is caring and protective sometimes even a little bit clingy, he would expect from you to make him feel protected from time to time. Keeping him calm and letting him free to express is a major key for a succesful relationship with him. The relationship with Daniel would be increadibly romantic and with a great sense of humor and fun. But if you hurt him, he won't give you a second chance.
