Some regard him as arrogant, others adore him. Wether you like him or not, you must agree that he is one of the best drivers of all time. Lewis Hamilton, Born January 7 1985 under the Capricorn Season, is known for being a very hardworking guy. Lewis is always commited to his work and sometimes even sacrafises his freetime on a raceweek-end to stay with his engineers and try to have a better understanding of the conditions for the week-end. Typical for a Capricorn, he is always encouraging others to work hard as well. He truly believes that with hard work you will succeed and he lives by that mantra. Apart from being an f1 driver, he is also a fashion designer, model and musician. While many people used to criticise him for his (unusual) lifestyle and claimed he would lose focus, Hamilton proved everybody wrong and showed that with more and more work, he can get even better.
Another interesting fact again is that the lucky numbers of a Capricorn includes the number 44, which is the number of Hamilton's car. Since he's driving with the number 44 on his car, he has been very succesful. So is that coincidence again? When Lewis was 8 years old he began with Karting and was 13 years old, when he got signed by Ron Dennis to the Mclarens driver development programm. As you've probably noticed, the number 8 and 13 belong to the lucky numbers of a Capricorn as well. At the age of 22, Lewis entered his rookie season in 2007. Losing the championship by only 1 point, Hamilton had one of the most succesful rookie seasons of all time. Silver being one of the lucky colours of a Capricorn, can also explain Hamilton's success, since he was driving for the silver arrows in 2007.
Another typical trait for a Capricorn is being a Team -Player. I'm sure every f1 driver has to be a team player in a certain way, but what Lewis Hamilton has achieved over the past 7 years with Mercedes, is in my opinion just outstanding and phenomenal. What he has created with Mercedes reminds me of what Michael Schumacher has done with Ferrari [and btw he is a capricorn as well ;-) ]. Lewis somehow managed it to get a great atmosphere within the team by having a healthy relationship with the management, mechanics and engineers and always keeps encouraging them to perform even better. I think you can clearly see how he's getting the full support and trust from the team. For example, the Hungarian Grand Prix 2017, when he asked the team, if he could switch positions with his teammate Valtteri Bottas to catch the Ferraris in front and if he couldn't make it, he would give the position back. I remember how many people immediately doubted that and began to criticise Mercedes, claiming that they were naive. Nevertheless, when Hamilton couldn't overtake the Ferraris in front, he slowed down in last corner of the last lap and let Bottas pass, who was threatened by Max Verstappen, and even risking his 4th place.
