Paul was getting bigger by the day, and he was one of the best things to ever happen to Glomb and Maggie. They loved their son more than life itself. He was sweet and cuddly. He had an attitude like no other when he wanted too, but he still could barely talk. He babbled most of the time, but he did know the word 'no.' It was as if he used the word more than his parents used it.
"I never realized how much he looks like us." Glomb commented, causing Maggie to laugh.
"He's literally your twin. He just doesn't have a beard yet." She replied, as Glomb scoffed.
"He's such a Momma's boy though." He said, making her roll her eyes.
"You're just jealous that he doesn't dress up with you." She retorted, looking down at her and Paul's matching outfit.
Even after having many sleepless nights, Glomb and Maggie have not had any fights. They were still everyone's perfect couple, if it wasn't for the fact that nobody but Jenn knew about them.
"Maybe we should tell everyone. I mean, we have a baby now, so it's not like they can make us split up." Maggie commented, though Glomb sighed.
"I know you really want to tell them. Hell, I do, too, but we can't. You know Bam will lash out, he always does. Maybe we should wait until Pauly's older. I just don't want him scaring Pauly." Glomb answered, as Maggie nodded in agreement.
"You're right, I keep forgetting how much of an ass Bam really is." She replied, causing Glomb to laugh.
"Exactly, that's why I remind you all the time." Glomb joked, as she smirked.
As they continued talking, they heard Paul start crying from the other room.
"Duty calls." Maggie said, before getting up from her spot at the table and walking into Paul's nursery.
When she walked in, she seen her son sitting up looking at her through the rails of his crib.
"Hey Pauly, have a good nap?" She asked her son, though she knew he wouldn't answer.
He threw his hands up in the air, signalling for her to pick him up. Once she had him in her arms, he laid his head down on her shoulder.
"Aww, my baby is so cuddly." She cooed, as she kissed his head.
Carrying him into the kitchen, she sat him in Glomb's lap. Glomb kissed his son's head, hugging him to his chest. Maggie made Paul a bottle, handing it to Glomb for him to feed his son.
"I'll be working only a few hours at the shop tomorrow. Hopefully I don't have too many customers." Maggie commented, as she sat back down at the kitchen table.
"Angelo hasn't seemed to be giving you too many customers at one time." Glomb said, causing Maggie to nod.
"Yeah, he's very understanding of my situation. Matter of fact, he said if we couldn't find a sitter and we're both working, he's willing to set up a small room in the back for Pauly." Maggie replied, making Glomb smile.
"At least we know he's a good guy. I mean, he's been very helpful in our situation." Glomb answered, as he finished feeding Paul.
He handed Paul over to Maggie, seeing as though she's the only one of the two that can get Paul to burp without spitting up. It was as if he made his father his target every time he had to spit up.
"I meant to ask, what brought up the topic of telling Bam? I mean, you haven't talked about that since Pauly was born." Glomb asked, causing Maggie to bite her lip.
"Crap, I totally forgot to tell you. The other day Bam came in to get a tattoo. He and I talked, and he said he misses me being around. Honestly, he wants me to come see him soon." Maggie said, as Glomb nodded.
"Alright, that makes complete sense. We just have to find a babysitter. We both know Bam will call me at some time that day, so we've both got to be ready to leave." Glomb replied, making Maggie nod quickly.
"How about we get Ange to babysit. I mean, he's a great guy, and I think he'd be a great babysitter. Plus, if we know he's good at babysitting, we can use him at any time we need him." Maggie commented, causing Glomb to smile.
"Sounds like a great idea to me. Call Angelo up and tell him to be a babysitter Saturday." Glomb said, before Maggie pulled her phone out of her pocket and called Ange.
Through the phone call, she told Ange everything they were planning. He was actually very excited to be a babysitter. He didn't know if he'd be amazing, but he'd try his absolute best to be a great babysitter.
"Alright, we've got him booked for Saturday." Maggie said, causing Glomb to chuckle.
"You're talking in shop terms again." Glomb commented, making her laugh.
"Sorry, I'm so use to saying shop terms during the day." Maggie replied, as Glomb smiled at his fiancé.
Once Paul had burped, Maggie decided it was time for her to start making dinner. It was already four o'clock, and she knew by six when dinner was ready, Paul would want some of the food she made. He really loved mashed potatoes, especially when it was just the insides of a French fry. She literally had to buy bags of French fries, just to smash them up for Paul almost every night. He also really liked spaghetti O's, so she bought many cans of that as well.
"What are you making for dinner?" Glomb asked, as he took Paul from her arms.
"I'm thinking meatloaf, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. What do you think?" She replied, causing him to smile.
"As long as you make your amazing biscuits." He answered, making her laugh.
"You know I'd never forget to make my biscuits just for you." She said, as he grinned.
They really were an amazing family. If only everyone could see just how much love there was between the family...
