The Arrival of The Akatsuki

"What do you guys want?!" yelled Kiba as he clenched his fists. He had a feeling that they were dangerous and had to arm himself just in case.

"Move boy, I only need the females behind you." said the blue-paled man as he stood in front of Kiba. He was much taller than Kiba and looked down on him.

"Then, you have to go through me!" yelled Kiba as he threw a punch towards the man. However, he easily dodged it and quickly punched Kiba's stomach.

"Kiba!" shouted Sakura and Hinata.

"You bastard!" coughed Kiba as he tried to stand up. However, he was pinned down after a couple more punches from the man.

"Does it hurt? It hurts doesn't it?" grinned the man as he continued kicking Kiba.

"Stop!" yelled Sakura.

Suddenly, there was a loud yell from somewhere. "Sakura! Hinata! Duck!" yelled a familiar voice as small knives came flying towards the three strange men. There appeared a familiar figure, with similar blonde spiked hair and whiskers on his face. It was Naruto.

"N-naruto-kun?" asked Hinata in confusion. However, Naruto looked slightly different, his face had a bunch of plasters and his arm had bandages over it. The three men turned their attention to Naruto who came running towards them at full speed. Naruto threw a punch towards one of them and a kick to the other. However, his blows were blocked and the two men started exchanging blows with Naruto. The other man who continued to kick Kiba stopped as he walked slowly towards Sakura and Hinata.

"W-what do you want from us?" asked Sakura.

"Nothing. You two should just quietly come with us." said the man with a grin.

"Hinata! Sakura!" yelled Naruto who was still busy fighting the other two men. Suddenly, footsteps were heard from afar. It seemed like a group of people were coming.

"Tch. Oi, Kisame! We gotta go for now!" said the long haired blonde.

"What a way to spoil the fun. Well, girls. I'll see you soon." grinned the man as he took a step back.

The three strange men suddenly retreated themselves. Although Naruto tried to chase after them, he decided to let them go for now. It was at that moment, Lee and Neji came over.

"Hinata-sama! Are you alright?" said Neji as he ran towards Hinata who was unhurt.

"Kiba! Are you alright?! You're spitting out blood!" shouted Lee as he tried to carry Kiba over his back.

"I'm fine Neji-niisan.." said Hinata as her eyes were instead focused on Naruto who stood there, staring at her with a smile. She noticed that Naruto slowly walked away, trying to disappear himself from his friends. However, he was stopped by Sakura.

"WHERE THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE GOING SHANNARO!!" yelled Sakura as she kicked Naruto from behind.

"Ouch! I guess I was caught?" smiled Naruto mischieviously as he turned around.

The six of them headed to a nearby clinic to treat the injured Kiba. As they were sitting at the waiting area, Naruto explained his whole situation to them.

"You know those guys who attacked you? They are members of the Akatsuki." said Naruto.

"But why are they targeting us?" asked Sakura.

"I'm not quite sure what their aim is but they want to take revenge against all the schools in Konoha" said Naruto. He noticed that Hinata looked at him worrily due to his plasters and bandages on his body. He held Hinata's hands and gave her an assuring smile.

"Revenge? I wonder if the schools did something wrong or something.." said Lee as he went into his own world of thinking.

"Anyway, the Uchihas and the Hyuugas have already started to investigate the situation." said Neji.

At that moment, Kiba came out of the doctor's office. He was definitely all bandaged up but he came out with a grin.

"Let's go home shall we?" asked Kiba.

Naruto has been living with his godfather, Jiraiya for the past week. He has been looking around Konoha for any whereabouts of his family's heirloom. However, it appears that the Akatsuki is related to the lost heirloom that Naruto is finding. Thus, he has decided to work with the Uchihas to investigate further. After explaining the whole situation to Sakura, Kiba, Neji, Lee and Hinata, they understood Naruto's situation and decided to tell the others soon. They decided to leave Naruto and Hinata alone as they went their separate ways home.

"Sorry Naruto-kun, I couldn't keep my promise..." mumbled Hinata.

"That's okay Nata, I think it was a good decision to tell the others." smiled Naruto.

"I think it would be better to have friends helping you instead of working all alone by yourself, Naruto-kun."

"Thank you, Nata." Said Naruto as he lightly kissed Hinata's forehead. However, Naruto blushed and Hinata returned his kiss with a peck on his lips.

"I missed you." said Hinata.

"Me too." replied Naruto as he tightly hugged her.

"Where are you going to go now?" asked Hinata.

"I'll walk you home first. After that, I'm meeting up with Sasuke to discuss about the Akatsuki."

"So Sasuke-kun is now working with the Uchiha Police Force?"

"Or rather, he's working with all sorts of jobs under the Uchiha. Much tougher work than being a teacher" chuckled Naruto.

"Come back soon alright?" said Hinata.

"I'll try."

A new day has risen ever since that incident with the Akatsuki. News have spread across the school about Naruto's situation and not only the teachers but the students were motivated to help Naruto find his family heirloom. However, today was the day the two new teachers were coming over to temporarily replace Naruto. It became a shock to the teachers.

The two new teachers were Sasori and Deidara, two of the three men that attacked Sakura, Hinata and Kiba yesterday evening.

"What the hell?" said Kiba as he glared at the two.

"Woah, woah. What a nasty welcome huh?" grinned Deidara.

"All part of the plan" mumbled Sasori as he grinned.

Sakura, Hinata and Kiba were in a state of shock and confusion. Their attackers last evening were now their co-workers. Not only that, they were members of the Akatsuki. Just what were they planning?
