After about an hour of tv I switched it off and went outside. The fresh breeze touched my face and the grass danced in the wind. I layed in the grass an observed the clouds above. Some took shape of everyday things and others looked like blobs. Thirty minutes went by just like that and it got boring. Clouds can only occupy you for so long. I walked inside and grabbed my phone off the table to text my friend Morgan. She has long dirty blond hair and is the wildest thing. We have bin friends from before I could even remember..... anything. I asked her if she would come over and obviously she said yes. When she got here we went to my room. My room was always tidy with the blue walls and covers, almost everything matched. It made it the best place to hang out. We talked about how life was going and all our difficulties. She would always keep a secret, especially mine. We laughed at our stupid jokes and our smart comments that wern't meant to be said. But we all know eventually time has slipped from you reach and Morgan had to go.
By the time she left dinner was almost ready and Dad came home giving me a big hug.
"Hi Daddy," I was able to say as he was squishing me.
"Finally home sweet home," he said exhausted plopping on the couch. "What's for dinner, Christina?"
"Why don't you come see you lazy bum," Mom retorted.
"Ugggg...,"Dad gronned forcing off the couch and I followed right behind. That night we had steak with mashed potatoes, a great meal for a school night. Tommorow was Monday.
