I woke up to the beeping of the alarm clock. As I groaned to get out of my bed to shut it off, my Mom walked in to wake me up and jumped to see me awake.
"I thought you were sleeping," she gasped.
" I just got up," I giggled softly. We went into a hug.
"Good morning," she laughed along with me. We traveled down the stairs to get breakfast that was already on a plate steaming with a delishous aroma. On the table was sausage, pancakes, and eggs with cheese. Starting off with a good day. My dad came stomping down the stairs with his big work boots. He was in the military. We all joined together for breakfast talking about what we are going to do today.
. . .
I got of the bus heading towards my the school looking for my friends. In the distance I saw Sophi. She has long brown hair an eyes. Tan skin and had a beautiful face in general. I sprinted toward her grabbing her should.
"Ahh," she screeched. I laughed knowing I had frightened her. "What the heck! You scared the living day lights out of me."
"I got you!" I managed to get out between laughs. We walked to first period together laughing at each others jokes. When we walked we took our assigned seats. Mine was in between Morgan and Sophi. that's how we became friends ending up being in pretty much all the same classes not including extracurricular classes. The day went by as normal, long boring classes and girl drama spreading about boys. When I got home I flumped down on the chair at the dinner table about to do homework when my Dad walked in carrying a box.
"What's in the box?" I asked with concern.
