3rd Person POV
Crypto dragged Y/N into his room, tapping a button on the interior to close the door. Y/N slid from his grip and took a few deep breaths.
"Son of a bitch!" You mumbled between breaths.
"What was that about?" Crypto asked as he stared at you.
"None of your business!" You growled and retrieved your Karambit from your side before walking towards the exit of the room.
Crypto grabbed your arm and pulled you back before you could open the door. You spun around and attempted to swing at him with your knife, but he stopped and easily countered your attack, restraining you and placing your arm behind your back. You had dropped the weapon on the floor.
"You're not going back out there after what I just saw." He said shaking his head before releasing you and pushing you back into a chair. "You could've killed him." He added crossing his arms.
"That was the plan!" You stood up again and tried to push past him, but he simply knocked you back again.
"Tell me why you did it." He said calmly causing you to pause. You thought about trying to attack him again, but you'd have just been outsmarted again.
You took deep breaths, trying not to lash out at him again. You placed your head in your hands for a moment. It was getting harder and harder to control your emotions every second. You finally looked up and met the hacker's gaze.
"Because he helped murder my father, which lead to my brother also being killed, which lead to my mother abandoning me." You listed everything and tried not to let tears escape. If it got too hard, you'd always resort to showing aggression to hide your pain. "I survived by killing other people for money. All because that jackass and his stupid IMC tore my family apart." A single tear dropped from your eye as you clenched your fists.
Crypto sighed, crouching down so that you were at eye level since you were sat down. "You can't hold something against someone forever. Everyone changes. In my time I've seen a lot of people change hearts. Even those who seemed corrupt and immoral." He finished before placing a hand on your shoulder.
You took his arm and removed it from yourself. Looking forward and glaring at him. "I beg to differ." You said picking up your knife and clipping it back onto your waist before walking to the door, stopping to glance back at him. His expression was unreadable, almost like he was thinking of something. You shook your head, your anger returning as you turned away and left.
"Approaching drop zone."
"It vas one of zee moments I queszioned vat I vas fighting for." Lycan said as he recapped the entire story. "I vas an idiot to shoot him to begin vith. And zee vorst part is zat I heard one of zee kids vas killed later on."
"You can't blame yourself for something that long ago." Wraith said walking over and patting his shoulder.
"It's not just about if I blame myzelf. Ve already know zomeone elze vo blames me." He said motioning to Crypto's room.
The door to the room suddenly opened and Y/N walked out with a look showing murderous intent.
"Approaching drop zone." The AI said as red lights began blaring. Banners began showing up on screens indicating the squads.

"Where are we?" You mumbled as you looked around noticing you weren't in King's Canyon.
