3rd Person POV
The match came to a swift finish as Lycan sniped the remaining contestant from atop the market.
"You are the Apex champion!" The AI said as a dropship came into view.
"I don't like how calm this guy is." Ajay frowned as the victor emerged. "Neither will Wraith considering what happened to me when I arrived. So are we putting her on a leash or locking her in her room?" You joked as you stood up. "We're not gonna do anything and we'll see how it plays out." Ajay responded with a shrug. She seemed like she wanted to say something else to you, but Path began talking first.
"My calculations say that there is a 90% chance it will not play out well." Path said as he walked to Ajay. Elliot sighed before standing up straight. "Why can't we do what Y/N suggests and just leave her in her room?" He asked with a sigh. "Oh I wonder why. Maybe because she can phase through objects. And also that was a joke." You replied narrowing your eyes before beginning to walk away.
"She can phase through objects? I thought it was just open areas." Elliot said as he followed me.
Lycan's POV
The dropship landed outside of the legend's tower. Lights were blaring from the lobby and I was confused as to what was happening.
I jumped from the ship and began to walk to the glass doors as the ship left. I pushed open the doors and was almost immediately greeted by a man running up to me. "Hey, amigo! You're the new guy right?" He asked in an accent I assumed was Hispanic. I nodded and watched as everyone's eyes turned to me.
"The name's Octane." He said motioning for me to follow him. I continued after him as he walked to a group. "Amigos, it's Lycan!" Octane said motioning to me. What is wrong with this guy...
"The name-" I quickly cut off lifeline. "I know all your names." I said before turning to my right. "Anita Villiams, Makoa Gipraldar, MRVN, Elliot Vitt, Achay Che." I looked to the last two in the group. "Y/N L/N." I watched the man as I remember him. I turned to the last person. "Vraith." I stated as I simply didn't know her name. I watched her give me a death glare.
"Thought you knew everyone's names?" Elliot asked with a chuckle. "Vought vu vere zubozed to be funny?" I retorted with a small smile under my mask. "I think you stole the idea of a mask from me." Y/N said with a smirk as he crossed his arms. "Maybe I did, maybe I didn't." I replied with a shrug.
I noticed Wraith trying her best to ignore me. "Vat's vrong with her?" I motioned to her and caught her attention. "What do you mean what's wrong with me?" She glared at me. I scratched my head as she responded. "Nozing, it's just vu look upzet vith me." I said slightly uncomfortable. She narrowed her eyes. "So what if I am?" She asked stepping a bit closer. Most the other legends were about to do something until Y/N moved first.
"Hey." Y/N said quietly as he rested his hand on Wraith's shoulder. She turned to him and her face softened for a moment. "I didn't mean to be offensiv-" I was cut off as she turned back to me. "I don't remember asking for an apolog-" Y/N cut her off by picking her up by the waist and carrying her away. "Nope! That's enough." Y/N said as he held her. "H-hey!" I overheard her complain to him. He carried her to the elevator and left. I could see the pink haired girl with a look of jealousy as she had watched the girl be dragged away. I wonder if they're together.
"Sorry about that." Elliot nervously laughed. "It's no problem. I'd be zuspicious around me, too." I responded as a few of the legends walked off. "Yeah. I'd be attracted to myself, too." He laughed to himself and I shook my head. I heard footsteps behind me and turned to see Loba Andrade.
