You're classroom was hideous. You remembered from your days as a student how this room had looked while taught by four different teachers in seven years. Each professor had done something differently with the room, but it had really been let go since then. "Not what you were imagining?" Snape asked, a little too happy about it. You dare not look back at his smirk.
"No, no, it's just fine," You comment, trying not to let Snape get to you. The room smells musty, cobwebs cover every inch of the room, and a layer of untouched dust gives the room a gray tint to it. It looks as though the room hasn't been entered in years. You try not to let out the groan you want to let out.
"Well, I'll leave you to it Miss Rose."
You were quite distressed by the state of the room. There was nothing more infuriating to you than people not taking care of things. This room had not been taken care of at all. This was going to take all day to be prepared for classes tomorrow. You couldn't imagine the state of your actual chambers.

You were right. It did take you all day to clean. Even with the help of your most trusted wand it had been tedious to clean. However, the tables, chairs, floor and walls were shining. You had given the walls a bright yellow coat of paint over to make the class more welcoming. You had put in windows on two sides of the wall that mirrored what the windows on the top floor showed, a spell you had learned early on in your practice. Though you are teaching a very serious class, and were going to be teaching very intense lessons, you did not want your classroom provoke a sense of darkness. With sun shining in and reflecting off your yellow walls it gave the class a very welcoming atmosphere. You also bent the tables to make semi circles so that put together there were two semi circles in the large room. It would give you the ability to stand in the middle of the room and have all the class be able to see you. It also provided the class with a sense of comrodery. They were sectioned off two by two. You knew you would get the best results in this class if the students felt they were a part of a team.
"Wow." A voice from outside the opened door said. You turned around to face Snape, proud of what you had accomplished. You were so excited that not even the disgusted face on Snape could change you mood.
"Isn't it lovely?" You ask not really caring to hear his answer. You spin, soaking in the new feel of the room.
"It's quite...lovely," Professor Snape tells you, clearly struggling to get out the last word. But still you are taken a little back by his agreement with your room. He doesnt have anything nasty to say about it. That boosts your mood.
"Thank you," you reply courteously. "I think I'm ready to start on my chambers."
"Uh-aren't-well that is to say-aren't you going to dinner?" Snape stutters. You had completely forgotten about dinner. You notice instantly that you stomach has been grumbling for quite some time.
"Yes, of course."
"Well-um-I wouldn't particularly mind taking you up to dinner. Just to make sure you don't get lost and end up missing dinner." Snape withholds how gaze from you. That is odd.
"I would appreciate that Professor." You dust off your hands and pat down your (h/c) hair. You turn to Snape. He looks awkwardly nervous for some reason.
"Please-ahh-call me Severus. I'm no longer your professor."
