would you skip your favorite song?

I remember this habit of you
that always annoyed me
when we were listening to a song
and you listened until
your favorite part was over
and then skipped to the next song.

Now this got me thinking
You loving me
was like you loving a song.

You listened to me
until you heard my best part
and then you just skipped me
before listening between the lines
because you got bored of the song.
