You were biking to the house of your boyfriend, Robert E.O. Speedwagon. It was a generally sunny day, and you were biking down the road his house was on. You squinted a bit, knowing his house was only a few houses away.

You smiled as you saw him standing on his porch, talking one hand off the handlebar of your bike to wave at him. Unfortunately for you however, you weren't looking where you were going.

The sidewalk was very uneven, and your bike rammed into a part of the sidewalk that was slightly elevated. You felt yourself falling down, your bike falling on top of you.

You blinked back some tears, feeling your ankle begin to throb. You were now only one house away from Speedwagon, and he quickly dashed off his porch, running over to you.

"Are you alright?" he questioned, a hint of panick in his voice.

He kneeled down next to you, pushing the bike away. "How bad does it hurt? I really hope you didn't sprain it!"

You winced a bit as he helped you stand up, uttering out, "It hurts like hell."

He nodded, letting you lean on him as he helped you walk back to his house. He openers the door for you, and sat you down in a chair, elevating your aching leg with a footrest.

He left the room for a minute, then came back. "I made a makeshift ice pack," Speedwagon said proudly, holding out a plastic bag with some ice in it.

You smiled and took it from him, resting it on his leg. He disappeared once more, this time coming back with bandages.

"I think it might be sprained. It's getting kind of late, but tomorrow we can go to the hospital," he said, wrapping up your ankle.

You smiled at him once more. "Robert, you don't have a car," you reminded him.

He did a small facepalm, then said, "I'll just call an Uber or something."

You laughed a bit at his realization. "Well, then I guess I'm sleeping here tonight."

Speedwagon nodded. "I'll get you some pillows and blankets, and move you to the couch. I don't want to make you go all the way upstairs. I truly hate making you sleep on the couch, but I don't want to make your condition worse."

You laughed a bit and shooed him off, him coming back later with two pillows and several blankets. She set the pillows on the couch, then helped you move over, laying your head down on the pillows.

You smiled up at him as he pulled some blankets over you, giving you a kiss on the cheek. You smiled at him. "Goodnight," you both said to eachother, Speedwagon flicking the light off.

You simply lied on the couch for several minutes, listening to Speedwagon walk up the creaky old stairs of his old house, when a sudden thought came to your mind.

'I forgot my bike outside!'
