The news channel flashed on the TV and they gave a quick run down of the current weather status.
"So it's definitely a blizzard. That's always fun." Natsuo said sarcastically.
"Shut up, your teenager is showing." Y/n joked playfully, realizing her words sounded pretty rude she was going to apologize but Natsuo's chuckling stopped her.
Instead of talking much they just chilled watched the news, gathering as much information as they could before the commercial break.
Noon rolled around much faster then excepted and by then the sky was still filled with clouds that were mercilessly tossing snow down. "Do you wanna go check out the front desk?" Natsuo asked Y/n from his place laying on the ground.
"Sure, you think they serve lunch or something?" she asked as they both got up and walked to the door. Just as they opened it a fist came out and knocked on Y/n's face.
"Oh! I'm so so so sorry! I didn't think the door would open, are you okay?" a young woman asked, her worried voice traveling down the hallway.
Natsuo was shocked but and Y/n was taken aback, her brain took a second to completely load in what had just happened. She giggled slightly and reassured the poor lady that she hadn't hurt her. Natsuo had placed his hands on her shoulders to peek over at Y/n's face, just to make sure it wasn't red or anything.
"I can't believe I just did that my deepest apologies." the lady said, apologizing for the last time before moving on. "I just wanted to let you two know this hotel serves free breakfast, lunch, and dinner so you won't have to worry about meals during this..." she trailed off. "snow storm? Have they called it a blizzard yet?" she asked and both young adults nodded.
"Yeah, it was categorized as a blizzard on the news." Natsuo said, nodding his head along with what he was saying like a dork.
"Oh well that's good. Well not 'good' per-say but you get the point. Umm, anyways, I wanted to swing by and tell you both that if you need any help I'm just in that room down there." the nice lady said pointing to a room. "My name is Olive, by the way.".
Y/n and Natsuo both introduced themselves and Olive smiled, telling them to be safe while stuck here which the two didn't really understand.
Though when Olive left and the two were walking down the hallway to the front desk, the past conversation seemed to disappear as they started rambling on and on about who knows what.
"So eggs. What's with them?" Natsuo said, that was only the start of his passionate speech all about eggs and what they fuck is their problem?
They made it to the desk and the receptionist smiled at the two as they walked up. "I'm guessing you have questions about the blizzard?" she asked and they nodded. "Well, the hotel is supplying pamphlets with all kinds of fun info about how to survive a blizzard.".
Fun?
"You can just head right down there and turn to the first door on your left. That is where the dinning hall is and it will be where you can come down for the three meals of the day." she smiled and it was low-key, pretty freaky lookin'.
Natsuo and Y/n shared an equally freaked out glance with each other, before nodding. Natsuo basically carried Y/n to the large dinning room, the receptionist was scary.
"Not one for judging people, but she was pretty funky." Natsuo said, trying to downplay the spooky woman at the front desk.
"Funky, more like creepy." Y/n murmured, leading the two over to one of the serving tables covered with food.
"Oh fuck, wait. What if they're cannibals and that's why she was so creepy. 'Cus she's messed up by the flesh of her coworkers!" Natsuo said, when they sat down, both plates filled.
Y/n glanced down at her food and sighed. "Never mind." she pushed it slightly and Natsuo jumped to correct himself, clearing Y/n's mind enough for her to start eating the maybe human flesh.
Natsuo was close to ranting about eggs again but Y/n interrupted him by gasping. "Oh my fuck man! The Olive chick thinks we're a couple!" she said and Natsuo nodded.
"I mean, yeah. So did the receptionist from last night?" his eyes went wide, looking down at his food. "The receptionist from last night..." he trailed off and Y/n chuckled.
"No like, she said 'stay safe' as in 'don't get pregnant or something' stay safe." the girl said and Natsuo almost choked. Who am I kidding, he choked on the tater tot he had just popped in his mouth.
Y/n patted his back viscously, then when he stopped choking he started laughing causing Y/n to laugh.
They looked absolutely 100% insane.

"So they just got away? Never to get arrested?" Natsuo asked and Y/n nodded.
"Crazy stuff huh?" she asked and he nodded.
it was currently the third day stuck at the possibility cannibalism hotel and Y/n was telling Natsuo all about unsolved cases that have happened in Japan and the US.
"There was one in the US where this guy was found dead on a beach by these two girls riding horses on the beach." she said and Natsuo chuckled dryly.
"Talk about how I met your mother." he said and Y/n laughed in confusion.
"Wait what?" she asked, giving the guy an amused expression he just loved. Wait, nope didn't mean that hahahaha.
"Just like, imagine they were on a blind date. They planned to ride their horses on the beach during the sunset. Maybe ride off together and live a happy blissful life but no, they find this dead guy on the beach." he explained and Y/n laughed.
Most of the unsolved cases she had told him were somewhat gruesome but his outlook provided a funny outlet that they could share.
Even when she explained the Zodiac Killer and his whole shabang, the white haired boy made funny commentary Y/n couldn't help but love.
Then when she told him about the axeman of New Orleans, oh my goodness you would have thought she was telling him about some story from a children's book.
The third day of blizzard lockdown was spent laughing at true crime stories.
