Y/n and Natsuo were walking through a park when Y/n received a text from Tsukauchi. He asked if she could meet him at the police station so she could tag along to an urgent scene.

Both young adults frowned, it felt like they hadn't been able to spend any time together for a while and ever since villain attacks had increased life had become much more stressful.

"This sucks, we haven't had any time together that didn't get interrupted." Y/n groaned, Natsuo rubbed her back as she slouched and rested her head on his shoulder.

"I know, my classes next week are all gonna be later so we can spend the mornings together until you head to work." he offered, they shared a smile and Y/n thanked Natsuo mentally for cheering her up.

"I love you." she kissed his cheek before they parted, Natsuo leaning in to kiss her lips before they parted once again.

"I love you too, I'll come over later tonight." the shared one final hug before they both regrettably separated, Natsuo left for home while Y/n made her way to Tsukauchi.

Natsuo sat peacefully in the Todoroki home, while Fuyumi hummed as she washed the dishes he sat only a couple feet away finishing his homework.

And although one half of the couple was happy, the other was running down a wet street as it rained. Tsukauchi crouched in front of Y/n who brushed hair from her face, the sound of a hero fighting a villain seemed to take over as loud bangs and wails of pain rang throughout to setting sky.

Dark gray clouds followed Y/n even as the situation was resolved. The villain was handed in to the police and Tsukauchi dismissed Y/n, telling her to get home and stay warm before he left.

As she walked through the streets, the temperature sent from cold and chilly to hot and uncomfortable as a shriek of pain swam through the air. Her eyes widened as she rushed to find who was screaming, hand flying to send Tsukauchi her location before she stumbled upon a scarred man standing over what looked to be a shivering teen.

She couldn't hear what the man standing over the other was saying but the fearful whimpers falling from the kids lips seemed to tell her all she needed to know.

She stood still in her place, staring intently waiting for something to happen only for her to stop it. Eventually, a loud and sick chuckle fell from the villains scarred lips before he lifted one arm and let brilliant blue flames fly from his palms. Though just before the flames could lick the skin of the shaking boy, Y/n crouched to his level and swung her arm from the right to the left forcing the flames to follow her fingers before allowing them to evaporate into nothing.

It was silent aside from the tapping of rain and a deep groan from the blacked haired and purpled scarred male. "Didn't know heroes bothered to wonder this area. How luck we are." his sarcasm made Y/n look to his face, her own eyes meeting his glowing turquoise ones as her blood seemed to run cold and her face fell into fear and concern.

The sound of her own heartbeat thumping in her ears made her dizzy as she felt a sick sense of deja vu take over her body. Everything clicked within her head as her eyes fell to his scarred jaw.

Mind still filled with running thoughts and theories, she watched as the villain took a step forward while speaking. The sound of Tsukauchi calling her name broke her from her thoughts and in a flash she hung her jacket around the boys shoulders before helping him up quickly.

"Go to the man calling Y/n, he can get you to a hospital." she pushed the boy in the direction of Tsukauchi, letting him run off before she turned only to be thrown into a wall.
