chapter thirteen

My parents stormed out angry with me and left me sitting in the couch crying. The day was going so well I was taking sexy maternity selfies only for my parents to ambush me and leave me in a emotional state. I cried most of the day until it was five in the evening I got up from my spot on the couch and took a bath and prepared dinner. I didnt want Justin to come home hungry and seeing me like this. I decided to make some baked cornflakes chicken breast with barbeque sauce and some mashed potatoes and pasta with mixed vegetable for dinner. When in finished making the papaya pineapple smoothie to go with dinner he walked in.

   "Hey babe that smells great, I'm sorry I'm late" he mentioned as he kissed my forehead and placed his briefcase on the island and pull me into his lap. "so how was my fave girl in the whole world and my boys? What did you do today?". The moment he asked that a tear fell down my cheeks and I forced a smile and kissed him as a distraction. He grinned and kissed me back and was about to take us to the bedroom when I withdrew myself from his embrace and said "dinner first". He groaned and I laughed at him and he mumbled something rather incoherently so I asked him to repeat while still laughing. "No fair you kissed me and now I want to treat that body of yours so good and you're making me eat food . what if I wanted to eat you?" I laughed so hard and said you're making  my day. "I thought your  parents did" he grumbled and this time I heard. "What?" i whispered "you know they came". "Yes I do they called work yesterday saying they are stopping by one of these days while on their vacation I just assumed it was like later on couple days from now so I decided that after work i would come home take you on a business trip with me tonight but they came by work right after they left here that's why I came home late"

After dinner in silence and some movies we went to the bedroom and packed our suitcases in silence. Even when we were at the private landing area for his company plane I was still silent and skeptical he kept glancing at me trying to read my mind. Well good luck with that i don't know what I'm thinking I thought to myself.

When we were inside the plane he lost his patience "what is on your mind you didn't even respond after I spoke at dinner you just shared the food and ate and you're still silent and it's driving me nuts just please why dont-?" I interjected his rambling "it doesn't add up" I mumbled. What doesn't?" he asked and leaned in towards me. "Well for starters why are you still taking me on a trip with you if they already came" he was dead silent  and kept staring at me "also why would they call you and not me " he was able to formulate an answer this time "to surprise you".      " ha they did, and I can tell you're  keeping something from me and you're lucky I can't lose my cool with you and scream all I want cause I can't get stress since im pregnant but know this I'm hella mad at you" with those final words I walked to the back of the plane with my blanket and went to sleep
