I sat in my chair at school and watched as everyone of the kids talked about there fathers and my mom isnt even here yet and I dont think my mom will come but its okay she has to make sure her dance class students are ready for the competions next week. Benjamen was at the front talking about his grandpa I mean dad Hank."And my daddy is a doctor he saves lives and.." I got bored of his voice and just looked around sins Dawn dosent have a dad because her mom is married to another women so her mother Harper is there with her. I smiled at Auntie Harper and waved at her and she smiles back at me and waves.
When Benjamen was done talking it was my bestfriends turn and he is there with his dad uncle Owen. Nathan talked about his dads job he has alot of hotels. He talked for five more minutes, Mr.Scott smiled at them and then looked at me. I guess its my turn I looked at him and smiled weakly. I get up slowly with the box of old pictures of my dad, his dads medels and his soldier uniform.
"Easton its your turn you dont have to do it if you dont want to." Mr.Scott says and I look at him and walk to the front of the class."I want to do it Sir." I say and he nodds his head. I turn to the front of the class and put the box done and took the top of the box of and looked back up looking for my mom. She was still not there.
I took a deep breath and then looked at the class."Go-good Morning every- everyone Im E-e-easton and today..." I couldnt do it and the fact thant Benjamen smiled at me but it was a mean smile I felt sad and then I picked the box up and was about to walk back to my seat when my mom walked into the class and she smiled at me telling me everything is going to be okay.
I walked back to the front and took another deep breath and my mom looked at me and gave me a tumbs up."
Good morning everyone Im Easton Rodriguez Rosewood Carter. My dad Justin Rodriguez Carter died 5 years ago I wasnt even born. He was in the army he served for 3 years he toured Germany, Iraq and many more places. I never got the chance to meet my dad I never got the chance to play ball with him or go fishing. But I was raised by a strong single mother she is there for me everystep of the way and she loves me. Even though I never got to meet my dad I know he loves me and that he is watching over ne every day and the fact that I get bullied for not having a dad is not right."
I said the last part looking at Ben. I then went on."Here is photos he had blonde hair and blue eyes my mom said that I have his smile, laugh and his face when Im upset, she tells me about my father every single night when I ask her to tell me about my dad. I have his medals here as well a medal of honour because he saved his team even with a gunshot wound to the stomach he knew that he might not make it to meet me but he made sure that every man and woman in his unit makes there home safely even if it meant he dies. I were his dog tags around my neck every day so that Im closer to him. I might not have meat my dad but I sure do love him and I know he loves me to." I then unzipp my jacket to and underneath it I wore a soldier uniform I take my cap from the box and put it on my head I then take the dog tags from my top an let them hang down my chest.

"All I have left to say gracias por tu servico padre. I love you so much."(Thank you for your service father) I stood like an army solider and salute. The whole class even Benjamen clapped there hands my mom ran to me and picked me up she gave me a big hug and kiss me on the face.
"I love you so much Rodriguez you did so well." She says as she gives me another kiss on the cheek and I kissed her back on the cheek."I love you more momma."
