i'd seen Ashley around.
she was always so sad looking,
like she had just seen the entire world burn to a crisp without being able to do anything.that's exactly how i felt too.
i tried to ignore her,
but i wanted to talk to her.everytime i tried to go over,
someone would stop me.
and i was always glad when they did.and this time,
it was Cara.she had her hair pulled back with a thick blue ribbon.
she looked concerned for me,
she was so beautiful and petite.are you okay?
i snickered,
why would you think i wasn't?
she shrugged,
oh, i don't know, maybe because you looked like you were hit by a bus?
i wiped the smirk off my face,
you don't know a thing about me,
for your information i am perfectly happy and don't need anyone's concern.i started to walk back to Mud Skip and Banker before she stopped me again,
i'm sorry, Kevin, right? i didn't mean it like that. even if i don't know you, i'd like to, if that's alright.
sure.
