Cara, Banker, Mud Skip, and i rolled down the road.
Cara stood on the back of my skateboard,
she didn't have one of her own.when we got to Bankers,
we set our boards aside.inside it was cool and smelled like gasoline.
Cara and i sat side by side on the couch with one arm destroyed by several cigar burns.it was different with Cara there instead of Ashley,
no one was sure what to say around her.
she was so innocent and sweet,
no one wanted to tarnish her golden record of perfection.what do you do down here? just sit and wait for something to happen?
Cara got up from her seat before anyone could reply,
turned on the cd player and blared the last song we played.
my ears were bleeding but i couldn't help but smile and let out a sigh of relief.this girl was perfect for me.
the music blasted for hours,
my voice was fading from belting the words to every song i knew.
cans littered the floor,
even Cara holding her own.soon it was four in the morning,
Cara took me out the back door of the garage,
and told me,i don't like Josh.
i was slightly confused,
who?
Cara laughed,
that's not the point Kev, i like you.
i'm not quite sure how it happened,
but soon our lips were touching,
and all i could think about was how she smelled of the sweetest honey you could only imagine.
