Short chapter

When Marinette opened the car door, she realized Adrien was there too. She had thought maybe he'd gone somewhere else to relax in the breeze, but I guess the vehicle worked too. She couldn't tell if he was pissed or sad.

"Hey" she sat down beside him. This time, in the center seat instead of the one closest to the window. He didn't respond, so Marinette looked up to see his face. He was staring out the window. Not shortly after, Adriens bodyguard began to pull out of the parking structure and onto the road. "Not talking, huh" she lied her head onto his shoulder. He didn't shrug her off, nor did he say anything. He simply let her doze off onto him.

They stayed like that throughout the whole ride, obviously until they approached Marinettes bakery. Adrien slightly shook his shoulder, in wait for her to sit up and exit the car. "Do I have to leave yet...?" Her voice was shakey and tired. That's when he realized, she didn't have to leave right now. If they wanted, they could have a sleepover and party like no tomorrow. She could come over until she liked, and walk home later. They had done it plenty of times in the past. Gender didn't matter.

"No, drive us to my house please." He added. Gorilla grunted and began to start the car again. Marinette lied her head back down on his shoulder, and waited until they pulled up to his mansion.

"You can go home whenever" he informed Marinette as soon as they reached his room. She nodded and lounged back onto his couch. "Your room hasn't changed much" she added, looking around. Of course they'd always been friends, but lately it's been more difficult to hang out places other than school. "And your personality hasn't changed much either" Adrien joked with her, but she simply grunted and looked away. He was sitting at his desk looking through emails and things like that, while Marinette was on his couch messing with his TV.

"You got Netflix or anything like that on here?" She complained, but Adrien simply giggled and swung his chair around so he was facing the back of his snow white couch.

"Course I do. You're just too dumb to look properly," "shut up, idiot,"

He walked up behind her and snatched the remote from her fingers. "Let me do it" he insisted. She huffed, but let him do what he wanted anyway.

"Here," he laughed and tossed the remote at her, but she simply nudged him. They joked a lot like this, it was nothing new. "Thanks,"

After around an hour or so of talking, watching movies, joking, ect. Marinette was finally ready to head home. "I'm tired so I'll get going. Cya tomorrow?" She began to sit upwards and leave. "Yeah, I'll cya tomorrow," Adrien waved to her. His vision became blurry and so he started zoning out. She never answered his question earlier. She never told him who she liked, which was understandable. It's not like she had to.

But if she didn't want to tell him, does she not trust him?

Or is she embarrassed?

Whatever it was, he could tell it made her uncomfortable so he didn't bother asking. Instead, he'd let her tell him when she was to be ready to tell him.
