Amanda's POV

"Finally home." Jughead said as he opened the mansion door as I walked in holding Maddiline. "Surprise." Everyone whispered to protect Maddi's ear and I giggled but smiled. Everyone was here. FP, Alice, Betty, T-Bone, Archie, Veronica, Dad, Jannet, Sweets, Daisy, Fangs, Kevin, Cheryl, Toni. I looked around and saw him in the living room and smiled. "I made sure he was here." Sweets said as he walked over to me kissing my head. I smiled at him, "Thank you." I looked over at Jughead who was looking at Maddi with tears in his eyes. "happy daddy?" I asked him to which he nodded quickly. 

He is only 18, which is so very young, Maddi was a drunken mistake but when we found out we weren't gonna abort her or give her up. My dad walked over smiling, "Proud of you kiddo. And you too Jughead. You both are gonna be great parents, even more so with all the support you both have." I teared up at that. "Thank you dad. Wanna hold her?" I asked and he nodded fast as I gently placed Maddi in his arms. I walked away over to Malachai, he was nursing a beer, "Hey." I sat down on the couch next to him and he looked over at me with that same look, lost and broken.

"Oh, hey." he said as he looked away, he still looked so pale and ill. "Walk with me?" I stood up and put my hand out for him to grab. He let out a shaky breath as he placed the beer on the table and took my hand standing up. I walked to the back door but was stopped by Juggie. "Mandi we are gonna go to the Wyrm show off Maddi. Just wanna make sure that's okay with you." He looked worried, well he always does but I know the reason behind that look. "Yeah. just give me a few?" He nodded and kissed me before walking away back to Maddi, I pulled Chai out back to the hammock. "Lay down." I said and he did and I laid next to him looking at him. "Spill." I said and he closed his eyes. 

"I'm so sorry. I should have protected you, your family. I should have known Kurtz was stupid enough to still do that even when we joined together. I should have told him it was off. I should....I should have been better for you. Kept you safe. I let you down...and I lost you..." he stopped talking when he voice started to crack and shake. I placed my hand on his cheek pushing his curly hair out of his face and he  finally looked at me. 

"Don't be so harsh on yourself. I forgave you a while ago, as did my father and Archie. We all did. I knew you were around, I always knew you didn't leave. You protected me even when you couldn't see me, even after you hurt me you proved to me you care." I smiled at him and he sighed. "I shouldn't be here. You have a kid, a family, a happy life." He spoke low but I heard someone clear there voice and I turned to see Jug. "Yes, she has a kid, yes she has a family and yes she has a happy life. But, I think she would be happier if you were apart of that happiness. She's my girl but it's the same thing with Sweets, Mandi can love more than one person, two people who she wants and loves. That was never a problem for me, I knew she would want you back but I knew she loves me and would want us both and that is perfect. The more people to protect Maddi and Mandi the better." Jughead smiled wide as he looked down at Maddi who held onto his beanie with baby strength. Chai sat up and smiled, "You're....you are serious?" He spoke low, fear laced his words, choking the words out of him. "Yes." I moved over more so Jughead could sit down and placed Maddi in my arms.

"So you finally gonna be with Chai?" I looked over and saw everyone standing outside now, which made me giggle. "So nosey." I said with another giggle and looked at Chai then Jug and smiled. "No. I'm gonna be with both." I looked down at Maddi who had her eyes opened cooing as she held my finger. Jughead laid down with his head on my stomach and Chai laid next to me with Maddi on his chest. "Well good. We are gonna head to the Wrym." FP said as he walked over and kissed my head. "Proud of you kids." He smiled and walked away. I had no idea how tired I was until I closed my eyes and felt myself drifting to sleep. I knew Jughead was already passed out from the soft snores coming from him. This is how he liked to sleep with Maddiline was still in my tummy. "Chai...stay awake...watch her....please....need.....slee-" I drifted off into sleep. "Don't worry Jug and Mandi, I'll watch babygirl." He smiled at her as she slept on his chest all sprawled out on him. "I won't let anyone or anything hurt you Maddi, or Mandi or Jughead." He kissed Maddi's head.

I know it's very short but I am running into writer's block on his story. Maybe one or two chapters left and Maybe I'll make a new book for this story where maddi is a little kid now with one mama and two daddies.
