"Woah..." Hinata said, looking at his now red palm. He had jumped the same height as before, meaning that his now-terrifying jumping ability was his new height. He was being ogled by almost everyone, and he didn't really like how their eyes looked like they were going to fall out of their sockets. Creepy...

"H-Hinata. Nik-Nuff.... N-Nice jump..." Kageyama congratulated. It was actually weird. When Kageyama talked to the short middle blocker his sentences almost always consisted of the word(s) Boke or Dumbass, so Hinata was flabbergasted at the somewhat niceness of his teammates words. Kenma, for some weird reason, didn't like that Kageyama was blushing. At all.

But the second year didn't know the blushing was because the milk-man was embarrassed at his stuttering.

Nobody but Sugawara knew this, but Kageyama felt attracted to Yamaguchi, and was thinking of asking him out. For a get-together obviously; Kageyama didn't know the first thing about asking someone out or even expressing emotions, so that's where Suga came in. "I... I guess that's the new normal. Kozume-kun, are you sure you feel alright?" Daichi asked, turning his attention away from Kageyama and Hinata to Kenma, looking curious. "I feel fine..." Kenma murmured, looking at the captain of Karasuno. "Then let's start a new game!"

And that was exactly what they did.

~~~~
"Ken-Ken!"
Kenma flushed a bright shade of pink. He knew exactly who that was, because if anyone else even attempted to call him that he would throw a volleyball at their head and blame it on Kuroo. The second year turned his body from where he was picking up a volleyball on the floor and looked to Hinata. The two volleyball players were the only ones left in the gym, because both of them were on clean-up duty. They were told to clean up as a punishment for missing the first game. "Toss to me?" The orange haired male asked excitedly, bouncing in his spot.
Hinata wanted Kenma to toss to him for three reasons:
The middle blocker really liked it when Kenma set for him; Kenma didn't call the first year out for every mistake he made or call him a Dumbass after every set.
Kageyama was talking to Yamaguchi. Normally Hinata wouldn't care and would interrupt the blueberry, but Sugawara came out of nowhere and told him to leave the two. When Hinata asked his Mother figure if he would set in Kageyama's place, Suga simply told him that he needed to make sure his angry son didn't mess up an opportunity to hang out with his crush, Yamaguchi. Hinata didn't understand a thing about having a crush, so he just nodded his head and walked away to help clean up with his friend.
The final reason was simply because Hinata liked Kenma, but his natural denseness wouldn't let him acknowledge it.
"Sure,"
Hinata smiled and jumped an amazing height out of happiness, then rushed to put the extra volleyballs away. Once he did, the orange haired male ran over to his friend, but fell to the floor with a yelp on the way. Kenma immediately walked over, dropping his volleyball on the floor. "Shōyo, are you alright?" He asked, bending down to his friend. Hinata winced a bit, then ripped off his right shoe, to reveal that there were a few drops of blood splotched on his white sock. Kenma didn't even ask his friend about what he did. He took out his phone and scrolled to Sugawara's ID number, and pressed the call button.
Suga answered his phone almost immediately.
"Suga-Senpai, it's Shōyo.... we're in the gym.... please come...." Kenma spoke through the phone, before he heard Suga's worried voice saying he and Daichi would be right there. Kenma hung up and put his phone into his pocket, then went back to looking at his friend. Hinata had ripped off his sock, and there was now blood freely dripping onto the floor that was just swept.
His brows were furrowed slightly from the pain of his foot being cut, but he mostly looked curiously with his brown orbs. Kenma looked to his friend's foot, and saw that something was actually carved into it.
