Happy Birthday Nishinoya!
✌︎︎Kenma's eyes slowly opened. He felt a small weight against his stomach and gave a small sigh. Kuroo was at it again, wasn't he? Kenma knew the captain of Nekoma liked to cling to something while he slept, and unfortunately it was usually Kenma when the team went on trips. Kuroo usually still had a pillow pressed against his head for a portion of the night (rooster head) but he tended to latch himself to someone in the early hours of morning. The second-year was about to roll over and grab his Switch, but was pulled back into a spooning position.
"...Kuroo.... Let go," Kenma softly said, grabbing Kuroo's hands that were etched to his stomach. As soon as he got a hold of them, he realized they were smaller than the third-year's hands. "B...Boke..." A slightly-higher-than-Kuroo's voice rasped, only wrapping his hands around Kenma tighter. The setter took this time to think. Kuroo didn't usually use that kind of speech, even when sleeping. The voice was higher, and this person's hands were smaller than the captain's. That led Kenma to believe that this wasn't Kuroo Tetsurō after all. The two-toned boy rotated his head to look at who was spooning him. He had to squint a bit because there was only a little bit of light coming from a wedge of light through the blinds.
It was Kageyama. He actually looked calm without that glare on his face all the time.
Hang on...
Kageyama!?Surprisingly, Kenma was somewhat calm. He wedged himself away from Kageyama and sat up, rubbing his eyes slightly. The setter then looked around the room and noticed everyone from Karasuno was in there. Everyone but Hinata. All of a sudden a loud alarm went off and nearly scared Kenma to death. The alarm was saying that Meat was god and amazing. It sounded like a ringtone Hinata would have. Kenma decided to watch as a familiar short Libero jumped out of his futon with spunk and turn the alarm off. It was Nishinoya. He looked around after he stretched his back and was kind of surprised to see Kenma. "Hey Hinata! Whatcha doing up already?" Noya called out.
Now that was surprising. Kenma blinked and then looked up at the Libero. "Nishinoya-San..." the setter murmured, but was stopped. "Nuh-uh! Remember what me, you, and Ryū-Kun agreed to? Use our first names!" Noya expressed, walking over to the blinds. Now who the heck was Ryū-Kun? Kenma had to think for a minute before he came to the conclusion that it was Tanaka because his first name was Ryūunosuke, and that was the closest to what the Libero said. Speaking of the short boy, he opened the blinds and shouted a good morning to everyone in the room. "Nishinoya Yuū, when I get up I'm gonna kill you," Daichi warned, his eyes still closed. Noya gulped and ran to Suga who was sitting up and stretching.
"Suga-Kaa! He's gonna kill me!"
Sugawara, having not heard anything because his ears were still closed, yawned and flopped back onto his futon, going right back to sleep. Noya squeaked and ran in the direction of Tanaka, before he realized that Daichi would kill him too. Who was beside Tanaka? Ennoshita. "Enno-Kun! H e l p!" Noya yelled, hiding behind Ennoshita. The second year made no effort to move from his sitting-up position and actually appeared to be staring into space. That's what happens when you first wake up. Daichi had woken up, but he decided he would just make Noya run extra laps instead of killing him. Kenma decided to ask why he was in Karasuno's room.
"...D-Daichi-Senpai.... Why am I here?" Kenma asked, hiding the curiosity in his voice. Wait. Now that he thought of it, Kenma didn't sound like himself at all! His voice was kinda all-over the place. Weird. "Uh... Hinata? Are you feeling alright?" Tanaka asked, looking over at Kenma. "I'm... Not Shōyo..." he explained, before hearing someone laugh. It was Tsukishima. "Obviously you're not. That little shrimp would be jumping all over the place right now, I assume you know that I know who you are, but why are you here? And... How?" Tsukishima asked, noticing right after that his headphones were on the Futon Kenma was on. Kenma himself was almost weirded out. Yeah, Tsukishima knew a lot about the paranormal and was very observant, but he knew that Hinata wasn't Hinata? How does one even make that accusation?
"I'm... Kenma..." the setter muttered, and almost everyone in the room gasped. That woke up Kageyama, who sat up and looked at Kenma. The first year blinked at Kenma then looked away, too tired to say anything before he was fully awake. Suga was also awake, but he was leaning on Daichi in such a fashion it was like he was trying to get back to sleep, which he was. Kenma stood up, but realized a few things. He was in different clothes he was in the day before, he was shorter, and he couldn't feel his hair covering the sides of his face, which slightly made him worried. "K-Kozume? ... Alright This is too weird for me we're gonna go to the coaches room," Daichi admitted, moving Suga. He kissed his boyfriend's forehead and then stood up, and he and Kenma walked to the coach's room, leaving everyone else still in Karasuno's room.
On the way there, Kenma started to wince. He then stopped, which made Daichi stop as well. "My.. Foot..." Kenma explained, trying not to call out in pain. The captain of Karasuno put his arm around Kenma to support him, and the two walked to the Coach's room. When they got there the door was already opened. Kenma let go of Daichi and limped into the room. There his eyes widened.
It was Kenma...
... Or was it?
