Taya woke up with a start. Surely that was just a nightmare. She laughed out loud, how silly of her to get scared over a dream. The scene in front of her finally registered, it was the Mexican cottage alright. She sighed, today she was going to get answers.
Taya showered and tied her hair in a ponytail. She went outside and almost collided into Matt, who was pacing in front of the door. "Ooof!" she huffed.
He looked embarrassed, "I didn't know whether I should have come inside or just knocked." Matt scratched the back of his head.
Taya shook her head, "No, you shouldn't have come in. Good call. I was naked."
"Really?" Matt squinted at her.
"No, you moron. Although, why did you want to see me so early in the morning?"
Matt regained his composure, "You cannot wear this everyday. So, I thought I'd take you out to buy some clothes. Did you eat anything?" He started walking and Taya scurried behind him.
"No, I haven't eaten breakfast yet. Where are you taking me?"
"Target." He answered.
"Target?!" She asked incredulously.
"What, never heard of it?"
Taya rolled her eyes, "I have been to Target, more times than you can count. I was just expecting something different." Matt looked at her, "Like what?"
Taya smirked, "Something like Blood, Bath and Beyond, I guess."
Matt tried to hide his grin but failed.
"So, tell me about yourself.' Matt asked her, placing his hands in his pockets.
Taya raised an eyebrow, "You know everything about me, my name, where you could find me. In fact, what all do you know?"
Matt sighed, "I know you are a new model, you took up arts in college, you are an orphan and that you love the ocean."
Taya stopped in the middle of the road, "Why do you know so much? Have you been stalking me? This is crazy, you know that right?"
Matt raised his hands and spoke slowly, as if trying to calm down a wild animal. "Answering your questions is part of today's plan. First we'll shop and while eating we can discuss anything, alright?"
"No, Matt it's not fine. You have been saying that you'll answer my questions later, but later hasn't arrived yet!" Taya snapped.
Matt ducked his head and looked at her through his lashes, "Please can we first get clothes and then talk?"
Taya reluctantly nodded and wondered how many people had he convinced to do what he wanted by just making that face.

Taya was in the changing room of Target. She loved being back with all the beautiful dresses. She came out to find Matt leaning against the opposite wall. He lazily looked at her, from top to bottom taking his own sweet time. The look made Taya go weak at the knees.
"Tank top, black shorts and combat boots. We are not the fashion police." Matt quipped.
Taya scowled, "Just because you lack fashion sense, doesn't mean we all have to dress like fools. I'll wear whatever I want. " She paused. "Also, take this bag. Buy all these clothes."
Matt looked inside and stared at her in mock horror, "I knew it the minute you started taking clothes off the racks. You are here so that I become broke."
Taya ignored him and walked out. Matt followed her and saw that she was telling the salesgirl that she would be keeping the clothes on her. Matt removed his credit card and swiped it. When he saw the bill while leaving, he called out, "You evil witch, are you happy now? I am bankrupt, but I'll make you pay me back."
