It was around midnight when we left. The sky was fully dark, some patches a lighter grey thanks to the winter clouds. Columbus was blanketed loosely in snow. It collected mostly around curbsides and rooftops. Despite that, the weather was surprisingly mild. For now.

Tyler and I met up with the others who had just been hanging out in the bus. Mark had to take care of it, but Josh was free to go now. They were both done with the responsibilities of touring.

"Hey, we're gonna go home. I miss my cats!" Josh admitted, his arm wrapped around Debby.

"They miss you too," Debby said back with a smile. "See you all soon." She addressed all of us, moving forward to hug me before she left.

"Good luck!" She whispered excitedly in my ear. I just giggled and told them to have fun as they walked out.

"Bye Zelda! It was nice meeting you again!" Josh called from the door.

"Same to you," I waved. With that they were gone.

"Would you like to go somewhere, too?" Tyler asked.

"Alright. Pretty sure we should leave Mark to do...whatever he's doing, anyway." I gestured to the front of the bus where Mark was slowly stroking each camera part before putting it away.

"I heard that!" He called without turning or stopping. "And yes you should."

Laughing, Tyler led my out of the bus and after saying goodbye to Mark we were out and alone.

"Where do you wanna go? Are you hungry or anything?" Tyler asked, his hand loosely tangled in mine, leading me towards what I implied was his car.

"Not really. I could go for a coffee, though." I admitted.

"Don't you ever sleep?" There was humor in his voice. We had reached his car, and he opened the passenger side before walking around to the other.

"You know I don't. And neither do you!" I accused playfully, knowing full well night was his most creative time.

"The four am game is the only game I play." He waved his hand like a diva.

"And basketball." I said.

"Okay, basketball and four am are the only games I play," he supplied, "but that doesn't flow as well."

"True. Back to your original statement, then."

He sighed dramatically and turned out of the parking lot.

"Where are we going?" I asked. "Your secret warehouse where you store the bodies?"

"Yo, my secret warehouse is a rave-only facility. We get down."

I laughed, entertaining the thought of him hosting a rave.

"That's it. I'll just get you a bunch of glitter and beads for Christmas."

"We would appreciate it immensely." He grinned.

"But really, where are you taking me?"

"An all night coffee shop. That all right?" He turned onto a brick road. The shops on either side were small and charming-well, those that were still lit up were.

"Sure." We fell into a comfortable silence, the quiet alternative music on the radio and the car's hum filling space.

It didn't take long to get there, and when we arrived the small homey café was dimly lit and decorated in red. Tyler pulled into the private driveway and led me inside. We sat in a corner next to a window that looked out onto the street, an occasional car whizzing by but otherwise empty.
