Lindsay Maxwell ~life in California ~COMPLETED

THE BEGINNING

My name is Lindsay Maxwell. I and my family are moving from Seattle to California.

I am from a family of five;My father Philip Maxwell, my mother Jennifer Maxwell, my brothers James and John Maxwell. James in middle school is ten years old and John is a year old.

I'm in grade ten at Seattle high school but we are moving, my mum thinks it's for the best. I will so miss my BFF'S.

"Honey come down we need to get to California noon tomorrow "mum said and yeah we are driving all the way to California, dad thinks it's nice to embrace nature (ughhh).
It feels so strange leaving this place and my friends behind but I guess it's for the best

"Lin you need to bring your bags to the car now "my mum said "I'm coming mum "I responded and almost immediately I heard noises and I ran downstairs ,I saw my mum soaked in John's cereal.

I started cleaning the whole place while my mum went to freshen up.

Well, we are leaving Seattle because of my dad made a terrible mistake and almost got his doctor's permission seized, so now he wants to start all over again in California, I think it's a good idea anyway I heard California guys are hot.

"I think it's time to go "Dad said taking the last set of luggage to the car and went back upstairs to get mine.

California,just the way I dreamt of it is a very cool place and I could see that my high school life was going to be interesting.

We got to the house and I asked for my room and he showed me, it was too girly though, everywhere pink (ewwww)but I can always manage it "Lin come downstairs it's time for lunch " my mum called

"I'll be right there "I said bringing out my laptop to check the battery level then I saw a message pop up but I was too hungry to check so I went downstairs to eat.

"Do you like your like your room?"Dad asked me

"Yeah kinda "

"Too girly, right?"

"Yeah, how would my room be so pink?"

"They finished decorating it before I remembered it was a guy's room "my dad said sarcastically and we all laughed and changed the topic.

After eating, I went back to my room to check the message on my laptop,it was from Allison;one of my BFF'S in Seattle and it goes thus:

How's California? I hope you are settling down fine? I thought we were going to be together forever but we need to move on with our lives. I miss our sleepovers but make sure you write me all your experiences in California, we promise not to forget you

All I could do was stare at the letter while my heart broke into pieces, I wish I could go back but this is my life now and I have to accept it and move on.
